"Talking"

'On the eve of battle with the village's would be destroyer I was called here for this, to be told I am not allowed to fight' "But Yondaime-sensei why are you telling me not to join the fight against the Kyuubi?" says Kakashi as he walks into the office to talk to the Yondaime in his anbu uniform with his dog mask on the side of his head so you can see his face which has an unsatisfied and irritated scowl on it.

"I told the messenger to tell you that because I have an S ranked special mission for you," the Yondaime looks up and sees Kakashi's face urging him to continue. "This mission is for you to take care of…"

'The village, your wife, what?' Kakashi thinks frantically.

"To take care of my son Naruto in the event my wife and/or I die in the battle against the kyuubi tonight. This will happen if I must do a special Jutsu to get rid of the fox; this Jutsu requires the user to sacrifice himself or herself to the Shinigami."

"Why would you do that, there has to be another way you have a duty-" says Kakashi before he is interrupted by the Yondaime

"I have a duty to protect the village, something I would do anything to accomplish even if I have to sacrifice myself to do so," says the Yondaime. "Also don't tell him about what his father did to him until you deem him ready to know, and treat him as you would your own son."

"I will you have my word Yondaime-sama, but I must ask why me?" asks Kakashi, "There must be someone more qualified to take care of Naruto than me."

"It's not because you're the most qualified, this isn't me ordering you as your Hokage but me asking you as your friend, and I'm asking you because I trust you and I have faith in you to raise him as the best person he can be."

"Well I'll do it, I promise you- oh shit she is gonna be so, so, so, mad when I tell her" 'I'm so dead' says Kakashi as he starts sweating profusely.

"Ah yes she will be rather irritated when you do tell her," says the Fourth Hokage as he chuckles to himself.

"Oh no she is going love this idea"

"Well anyway tomorrow the Sandaime will be holding a Jounin meeting about Naruto's fate, before the meeting you must tell him you will be adopting him, if he refuses tell him I ordered you to." Says Minato as he stands up and starts getting ready for his fight against the Kyuubi Then continues speaking. "Tell everyone he is your real son, and to make him being your son more believable I want you to change his hair color to match yours. You can't do anything about his eye color though."

"I wouldn't dream of it, I want some part of my beloved sensei to live on through his son." Says Kakashi as he starts getting up to leave, "need to tell me anything else?"

"Actually yes I do, I want you to take the Namikaze and Uzumaki family scrolls to keep them safe so you can give them to Naruto when he is old enough, and I trust you'll teach him the Rasengan and he will learn the Hiraishin. I know you'll raise him well," Says Minato. "Well it's time for my final battle."

Minato jump through the window of his office, and jumps from the building while weaving hand signs. "Alright Gamabunta lets do this," says Minato as a puff of smoke appears. The smoke reveals a building sized toad with a giant pipe and a sword.

"Jiraiya… why have you summoned me here?" Minato face palms as the toad turns his head from side to side looking for someone.

"Actually Gamabunta I summoned you, we have a demon to fight, let's go!"…
