Prologue
It was cold, dark, and wet, that day. Of course- being the paranoid girl I am- I complained on the way to school. My friends looked at me with a face explaining their emotions. "Shut up, Casey," they both said in unison.
I smiled, playfully, and got out of the car when it came to a stop. "Oh, come on, guys. You know we're not supposed to get rain in Nevada!" I said, grabbing my backpack out of the car. "It's also too early to start school. I mean look at that sky!" I exclaimed, while pointing to the sky.
Something was wrong with them. They looked at me like how we used to look at the preps.
"Is something wrong, you guys?" I asked with a worried expression.
They just simply said no and moved on.
Maybe I'm too paranoid. I always worry about stupid things. That's when trouble starts rolling in.
