Mission to Mars Continued…

I do not own any of the characters from the movie Mission to Mars.

Since I have recently watched the movie 'Mission to Mars' again, I thought I would write something about the ending.

As Jim McConnell raced through the stars his excitement grew. Somehow he knew he was getting close to the planet that the Martians fled to. Suddenly the ship came to a stop, and a window appeared in front of him. A planet much like earth appeared in the window. It appeared lush with plants and vast water ways. As the ship came closer he could see what appeared to be lights on the dark side of the planet, showing there was at least a city or two on the planet. The ship went into a decent through the atmosphere, he didn't feel the heat as he went down and the G-force didn't bother him either.

Descending through the clouds, he got his first good look at this new world. A city scraping the sky in all its glittering glory, a landing platform that his ship was floating to was seemingly at one with the land it was built upon. Slowly the craft landed, and then Jim saw Martians, similar to the one in the 3-D projection coming towards him. The window disappeared and the tube water he was in slowly drained. Surprisingly he felt like there was no water in the lungs, then he thought 'after all I have went through nothing should surprise me anymore'. A door appeared into a white room similar to the one he came through last time. Walking through the door, he looked behind him to see the transportation room's door had shut behind him. Checking his gage, Jim saw that the gravity, pressure, and the air in the room were very similar to Earth's.
