Drabble: Oops
The task force headed by Special Agent Clarice Starling surrounded the Medical Office Building where Dr, Hannibal Lecter had been spotted. She hoped he would surrender peacefully.
On her signal, they charged in, rushing past the startled receptionist.
"Give it up!" Starling shouted. The man behind the desk reached into a drawer, and a rain of bullets cut him down.
"That's the end of Hannibal the Cannibal," said Starling, sadly.
"You were after Dr. Lecter, the sociopath?" said the receptionist. "His office is three doors down. You whacked Dr. Lecter, the osteopath."
"Oops," said Clarice. "Guess I pulled a boner."
