A/N: Uh, yeah, Puckerman twins. One of the many things that happens on tumblr.
Mark sat against the wall, staring as his brother Noah hugged the girl he loved.
They didn't know he was sitting there. He must be invisible to them. He didn't know weather he wanted them to notice him or not, because he wouldn't know what to say. He didn't know weather to get angry at Noah or just let it be. He didn't know weather to say he loved Rachel or just move on.
Finally, they moved away from each other. Mark worried they would kiss, but they didn't. Instead Rachel dropped her head and left the choir room. Noah was smiling slightly when he looked up and saw his twin brother.
"What are you doing in here?" he asked, suddenly anger has filled his face.
Mark panics. He doesn't know what to do. "Why are you in here?" he challenges, resorting to anger. What else is there for him to do? He knows he can't accept this. He still loves Rachel.
"I asked you first."
Their eyes lock and the tension in the room is strong.
"I just came in here to… think." Mark shrugs. The tension lessens a little. Only a little.
Noah's eyes narrow. "Okay." He says, accepting Mark's answer.
"What were you and Rachel doing?" Mark asks. He stands up, wanting the higher ground, though he is the same height as his twin.
"It's none of your business." Noah spits. "It's not like you didn't see it, anyways."
"You just hugged. There weren't any words." Mark mutters, almost only to himself. "What's going through your mind?"
"It's none of your business!" Noah repeats, but his voice is louder this time. "Just stay away from my mind, Mark!"
Mark flinches. They'd always had that twin connection. He could take one look at his brother and know if something was wrong. But now, things had changed. It was harder for Mark to read Noah. It bothered him, because he knew it was all because of a girl. But Rachel wasn't just a girl…
"Fine." Mark grumbles. "I'll leave you alone." He walks past his brother and out into the hallway.
"Leave her alone, too!" he hears Noah yelled. His fists ball up tightly and anger bubbles inside him.
"Never, Noah!" he yells back, turning and seeing his brother in the doorway. "I'm never going away!"
