I do not own Ace Attorney or any of the characters. This isn't Klavier/Ema, but you can view it as that. This is my first fanfic submitted to this site. Sorry, it's just a short drabble for Christmas.

---------

Ema stood in the hallway, staring down at the draft of her first essay on forensic science. Why should she even have to do this? The answer is, Christmas. The beautiful, loving holiday always seemed to make her feel jolly! She, the grumbling detective who failed her forensic test, and became a detective, the girl who always complained about everything, except for when it was about forensic science. Big Ol' Santa loved her, and she wasn't that good. That's what it was, healing hate with love. Love, being a solution to everything. Christmas always made her give more than get, and be happy about it. Being happy, that she is near people who love her, for who she is. Even when she hates every single one, they all come together with her. Singing songs, giving presents, smiling… Smiling true smiles. That's what she loved. Seeing true smiles, for her, always healing her mood. She loved Christmas. She loved it.

She opened the door, and what she saw was not unusual, just a tanned prosecutor strumming on his guitar. She smiled a genuine smile, and placed her essay on the nearest table.

"Merry Christmas." Fully happy she gave something that meant the world to her. Just thankful for being her. Happy for being happy, for giving. It's like they say, love can solve everything.

The man stopped playing, and picked up the paper. Sitting back, started to read out loud.

"Forensic science- the science of…" After reading the whole essay, on the cold, Christmas Eve, he came to a short note at the end.

"I love this, this means a lot to me. Christmas is wonderful, isn't it? I know I call you 'glimmerous fop,' all of the time, but I really think you're pretty decent, for a guy. Don't forget to tell the rest, 'Merry Christmas.' As for you, I'm confessing now, you're not that bad, but you have to do something, too! Don't be that stuck-up, and don't act like a diva. Okay, Bye.

- Ema, the science lover."

There was a tiny scribbling on the side. It looked like… A Christmas tree.
