Impressions

Summary: Sara's first impressions on everyone at the lab

I'm in Vegas. It's pretty cool. I'm with Grissom again. We could have gotten together on better terms. That would probably make his coworkers like me better. Catherine, she was. rude. She didn't seem to want me there.

*** "Do you know where I can find Catherine Willows?" I asked.

"She's out in the field. Let me guess, Sara Sidle?" I knew it was Catherine.

"I know who I am, you're a little confused. Look, we can stand here and argue, or we can find out who did this to Holly Gribbs... Two sharp women are better than one." ***

That was when we first met. But she was still rude towards me. She seems as though she's the mother of graveyard shift. Maybe she was mad at me because I was there to find out why Warrick left the scene. She knew I bet, and didn't want him fired. Or maybe she was jealous that Grissom handpicked me to come. Yeah right. Maybe when the time comes, maybe she'll come to like me better.

Then there's Warrick. We didn't meet at the best of times. He definitely saw me as a virus, hunting him down. I was assigned to get the back-story on the Gribbs case. Why did Warrick leave the scene? Yeah, well that was what I had to find out, and it was obvious to me that he didn't want me to find out. I had to report all I knew to Grissom, which almost got him fired. So I'm pretty sure he disliked me as well. He probably hates me now, which will make it near impossible to work with him later on.

Nick Stokes, southern hottie. Yes, I admit he is really cute, but I don't think anything would happen between us. But maybe friendship? I know it doesn't come along very often for me, but he seems to be the kind that gets all the ladies. He's the exact opposite of me. Even if we may conquer friendship, he surely didn't want it while I was investigating the whereabouts of his friend. He was cold, kind of like every other person I've met in the world (other than Grissom.) But that was only that once. I think we're getting along fine now.

And then there's Grissom. Well, I know him already. Everyone knows who Grissom is. But I've known him longer. He's special to me. And all those unanswered whys? Well, Grissom, I think we're staring over. Because first impressions count.
