I looked down on you, and you looked up at me. I find it hard to believe you're . . . gone.

Why did I ignore you? I thought I was better, and stronger compared to you. In the end you were the one who was stronger.
After all you've been through, you deserved it. I had my turn at glory, but it's now your turn older brother. Though we fought a lot and never got along, when you went missing, and thought you were dead. I thought I would die too.

You were gracious, accepting me. After everything I've done to you. You took care of me, when we were lost. I felt frightened and had lost hope,but you still believed we could find our way. Hope and faith is all you had, runt. You struggled to survive, and you struggled to the end.

I looked down on you, and you looked up at me. I find it hard to believe you're . . . gone. Everyone misses you, mostly me. Despite everything, I just wanted to apologize. Forgive me for everything in the past, you taught me so much. I just want to learn how to believe like you do. Do you forgive me, Shade?
"Chinook!" Marina called to Chinook, she roosted next to him.
"It's almost sunrise, let's go. Griff and Luna are waiting for us." I nodded,
We both began to fly back to Tree Haven, the new home my brother gave us. I never did tell Shade, that he was always like my older brother . . .
"Chinook hurry up!" Marina called again,
"Coming!" I flapped my wings a bit faster to catch up to the Brightwing.
