The blood runs still as a figure lays in the distance, apparently dead.
What was she doing? Why did they choose her to kill the basterd?
She knew the answer.
They did not wish for her to beat Naraku, But for Naraku to beat her.
Oh how her heart felt pain at the thought.
Holding the Shikon No Tama close to her, Kagome let it sink into her skin.
No longer would she allow those she once called her friends Rule over her life and plan for her death. She could kill them, oh yes she knew she could beat them any day.
But for her own safety she acted like a weak little clueless miko.
The only ones she could trust now we're the only ones she could call friends.
Koga and his tribe
She knew she could trust them because before those bastards had sent her to kill Naraku, Koga warned her of the plot he had over heard. Shippo was killed when she left for the future, because he didn't want to go through with the plan. He loved Kagome too much. Kagome had cried when they told her that he had died by some wild demon when it had attacked them. Inuyasha was sat into the ground and was out for days because he didn't protect Shippo.
Hours ago Kagome had left to defeat Naraku, along the way she ran into Koga and he told her of what Inuyasha and the other members of the group had planned. She believed him, but she had to kill Naraku, it was her duty as the Shikon No Miko.
So she left Koga broken hearted, but before she was completely gone she whispered a to the wind to carry on these words.
"I will come back to you."
Then she left for the battlefield. It wasn't till after she had defeated Naraku did Koga and his pack hear these words.
