Hermione sat that the table the silent library, her sanctuary. She'd gone to try and get a head on all of her work, though she was already weeks ahead in all of her classes. Her mind had wandered to its favorite place, a dangerous place though it was. There he was in her thoughts like always. That taunting smirk and mischievous gray eyes that always made her melt. She couldn't help falling a little bit in love with him through the years regardless to the way he had always treated her, throwing around insulting words. She couldn't remember when those words stopped but she knew that they began to get closer, closer in the oddest of ways. Then it happened, one day it happened. She never would have guessed that he'd fallen too. With her? An unattractive bookworm that spent all of her time holed up in the library but then again the library was fate. After all it was the library that brought them together. Just remembering that day brought a shy little smile to her lips.
"Hey beautiful, tell me that smile is for me." The warm low voice next to her ear made her jump out of her seat and pout furiously at the smiling blonde.
"Draco Malfoy, how many times have I told you not to do that to me!" She whispered fiercely smacking his arm. He just chuckled and lifted her up to slip into her seat settling her back down on his lap. Hermione blushed bright red at his actions and looked away trying to act angry when her heart was going haywire in her chest.
"Come on, you know you like it. Just like me." He smirked, her favorite smirk, drawing her face around to his stealing her lips in a kiss that she fully reciprocated a light pink flush coating her cheeks.
"You are so conceited Draco."
"You love me." He replied smiling cheekily making her sigh and shake her head at him. "What? You know it's true."
"Oh hush I don't want to make your ego grow any larger."
"See? I knew it." Chuckling softly he leaned forward and pressed a kiss to the tip of her nose.
"I don't know why I love you." Hermione rolled her eyes turning around on his lap trying to get back to her books. "I blame the library."
"Yes it must be the library, it was our beginning after all." Draco had propped his chin up on her shoulder his chest pressed fully against her back. He pressed a kiss against her neck that made her light headed. Growling she twisted back the force of her kiss sending him into the chair back and he couldn't help but grin into the kiss.
"For once can we not do this in the library?"
