Just to get that out of the way… begin the story!

"Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive…" a cloaked figure spoke as they watched a ship get destroyed by a blue streak, only for said streak to have been a blue orb which then uncurled into an anthropomorphic hedgehog " Man not one of eggheads better attacks ,I mean one ship?" Sonic said as he landed on a rooftop "Normally he sends out something more explosive like…" he trailed off as what he says happens when he narrowly avoids a laser blast from a robot with something covering itself, the reason why was anyone's guess.

"Ok, not what I was talking about" Sonic said dashing into the bot knocking it back. "YOU WILL NOT WIN HEDGEHOG" a monotone voice spoke as the bot uncovered its arm blasting Sonic with lasers "Ok out of all the bots I dismantled this week-" Sonic ducked under a beam "-you have to be the most basic one I fought" The robot stopped blasting lasers. "BASIC!" It yelled in a regular voice "DO YOU THINK THAT FOR A FIRST STORY THAT SUCH A THING WOULD SET OFF A PLOT!" The bot yelled tearing the cloak off only to show that it wasn't a bot, or at least not a whole one as it was a pale yellow anthropomorphic cyborg cat wearing western style brown and green boots, a brown belt with a silver buckle and green center. His right arm had a silver wristlet but his left arm was completely cybernetic, only having a square blaster and 2 pincers. He had a brown eyepatch on his left eye which made his spiky hair split to his one good green eye and into the air.

"Ok this is different from his usual stuff.." Sonic said with slight confusion from the odd mix of cyborg, pirate and cowboy. " And it's that confusion as to why you didn't see this coming,!" the cyborg said as he pushed a button on his arm as he suddenly punched Sonic in the face with his metal arm sounding a slight crack when Sonic cratered the the wall. "Man this ended too quick" the cat said walking to sonic to put power nullifying shackles on him "Man I didn't expect that one…" sonic mumbled still dazed from the blow "That's one for Cross, None for the hedgehog" the now named Cross said as he put the shackles on Sonic.

"When we get there-" Sonic started "Tell egghead that a cyborg cat is out of character I know" Cross said using the same teleported to appear in Eggmans lair to reported and cage Sonic. "Hey Boss I got the hedgehog for ya" Cross said throwing Sonic down to the ground. "Excellent work Cross I knew making a cyborg would make a difference" Eggman proudly responded "At least in this timeline…" Cross muttered under his breath which did not go unheard "What was that Cross?" Eggman questioned while Cross darted his eyes "Man do not need that ability being noticed to the people IN the story, gotta think of something QUICK" Cross was acting out his thoughts which confused everyone, even the robots with basic AI the repress emotion.

"Never mind, just bring him to the cells" Eggman said waving his hand while covering his face "Since now that I've captured Sonic and his friends I can finally begin project Core, AND BEND THE WORLD TO MY RULE MWAH-HA-HA-HA" Eggman thought smirking the whole time while the robots stepped away from the mad man

Cross was dragging Sonic into the Prison cells showing multiple people Eggman has captured recently as well as Tails, Amy and somehow Shadow was captured "Hows the eye cyborg" Shadow mocked as Cross as he walked by, annoying him "Oh its fine but I'd be more worried about what's gonna happen now that you got a new cellmate" he growled throwing Sonic at Shadow. " See ya-" Cross then looks to the readers. "-when the plot advances at least, try not to make this a Sonadow Fic while I'm" he laughs as he walks away. "Cross you know that's never happening" "Shut it Author, I know that's not true I'm just making a joke sheesh"

Shadow pushes Sonic off of himself "I can't believe you were captured by that nut job faker" Sonic gets up "So says the guy already in a cell" "I wasn't captured by him…" "How were you captured then?!" "I…I was captured by… Metal… Infinite" "Is that the best you could come up with Shadow, of all things, a robot replica of guy, who might not even be alive!?" "SHUT UP OR ONCE I GET OUT I'LL KILL THE BOTH OF YOU!" a monsterous voice yelled out in rage. The two hedgehogs stopped talking until they saw the cell across from them "Tails, Amy is it you two over there?" Sonic spoke out "Sonic?" "Sonic!" "When did you guys get captured?" Amy thinks for a second "Oh let's see… Remember that date you Promised to go on with me?" "Gotta be specific on that one" "We were here for 3 days Sonic." Tails said blankly while Amy had a look of anger on her face.

"Can't believe you didn't notice faker" Sonic raised his hands in front "Sorry, I've been through some weird stuff for the past few days…" he trailed off "Some things are best left unsaid about it" "Ok what even happened?" "IT BETTER NOT HAVE BEEN ANOTHER GIRL" "…" they all thought. "Anyway" Sonic turned to Tails "Is there any plan to escape and get these things off" Sonic said while shaking the shackles. "Well outside of trying to trick the guy that brought us in, there's not much we got right now" Amy said "And these shackles are -Bzzzzt- not easy to get off" Tails said with all his fur standing on edge with his eyes wide and pupils shrunk. "Well great, now all we need is Knuckles or Silver here and then it will be impossible to escape" Shadow said.

Cross walked by dragging a large bag giving off a lot of energy which , despite his powers were nullified, Shadow could sense was chaos energy "Don't mind me, just dragging a big bag, god this thing is fucking heavy" "Still don't get how that guy got away, stupid thing ripped from the comics practically with the way that happened" Cross had left the room after 8 minutes as it was a long hallway and heavy object. Cross could be heard laughing in the other room ,reasons why are unknown. "Did anyone else feel the energy coming from that bag" Shadow said "Was it cause it was the same size as the master emerald Shadow, cause unless it was Eggmans lunch, I doubt it would be anything else" Tails said getting a laugh out of Sonic "Also I got a plan but we need to wait for whatever Eggman has planned though it won't be for a while as that guy over was brought into a room" Tails said pointing to a Serpent with grey scales and a grey and silver mohawk. Sonic tries to look over to the snake but only sees a green light "Is that guy Ok?" "Well he was screaming a lot but he was actually only captured yesterday and he had something in his head but that's all we know" Amy said looking away as she was disturbed by the guy as he just seemed a little out of it.

Meanwhile in the room nearby

Tubes and robot parts were everywhere as Eggman was assembling a robot exoskeleton colored white. "Hey boss" Cross laughed "Got the thing you, Hahah, need" he finished as he dragged the bag over to the table "Leave it near the generator, I'll be needing all the power I can get if I'm going to complete this model" Eggman then connected a tube to the incomplete robot "I still don't get how that things gonna work" Cross said in an unbelieving tone "It will work" Eggman said while holding a small orb with silver stripes "As Core will come online as soon as he's complete…
