Disclaimer: I do not own Kingdom Hearts in any shape or form.

Geth342: Um...ok, i should explain one or two points. The class he's in means he's 10 or 11 years old. I don't know if they have RE in America or Japan and i don't know what lessons they do have, which is why i picked RE. I hope this doesn't offend any religious believers. I also don't know if they have a religion in Kingdom hearts. This is me assuming they do. This is basically his homework question. If i get enough response, i may do a sequel for Sora. Obviously if no one wants me to, i won't bother. Anyway, i hope you enjoy, please read and review.

What is known as 'Darkness'? State what the Book of Nikdomi teaches and give examples of how to fight it. What is your opinion?

People say that Darkness is like Evil. When you do something really bad and you don't feel bad about it. I asked Dad if that meant pushing someone over and laughing, but he said that it wasn't really, although I shouldn't do that. I don't anyway. Being Evil isn't a good thing because nothing nice happens. You're always miserable.

The Book says that 'Darkness is the ultimate evil, the cause of all despair and problems in the world.' That means that Darkness causes everything that's nasty about the world. I don't get it though. The world is tiny- how many problems can there be? Mum said that this island and the island which I play on aren't the entire world but she's never been away either. No one has. Tidus said he had but he's lying. Lying's a nasty thing to do but I don't think it's an evil thing either.

The Book also says that 'Darkness must be fought against, but no one will ever win'. I don't get that either. Why fight if you can't win? It's a bit pointless.

Actually the Book has loads of things to say about Darkness, but it's mostly how bad it is and how people have died because of it. It says that to fight it you must 'not be tempted by promises of power', 'you must help others and do good deeds for everyone' and 'you must not forget who you are'. I really don't get that one. How can you forget who you are? I'm Riku and I don't think I'm ever going to wake up and not know who I am. That's weird.

I don't think the Darkness is very nice. Everyone says bad things come from it. But if I had to decide between being Dark and being Evil, I'd choose being Dark. I don't think they're the same thing. If you're Dark, you can still become Good again. If you're evil you can't because you like it too much. If any of my friends, especially Sora, or my new friend Kairi were in trouble, I would become nasty if I could save them. I don't think being Good would always help. Sora's always being nice to everyone but that makes him late for school and gets him in trouble with other kids. And sometimes his idea doesn't work out. I always beat him anyway and I'm never as nice as he is. He's scared of the Darkness anyway. He told me yesterday.

I'm not scared of the Darkness- there's always Light, no matter how Dark it is. You just have to find it.

Well done Riku. Very interesting and original. However this does go against the Book and I did say to not write about what other people say. You go off the point a lot but overall this was a very good piece of work. 7/10.
