Taylor went running to Chad. Her boyfriend had just broken up with her. Chad and Taylor had become really close. They were always hanging out as friends but Chad had always wanted to be more. Taylor rang the doorbell, the second Chad opened the door and saw Taylor upset he wrapped her in his arms. "Taylor, what happen?" Chad asked worried. " He broke up with me." Taylor replied talking about her recent boyfriend Jake. Chad held her tighter. They stayed like that for 30 minutes while Taylor cried her eyes out and Chad said comforting words like "He doesn't deserve you!" or "You deserve so much better than him." After she had finish crying she finally spoke, "Thanks Chad your always here for me, you're the best friend in the world!" if you only knew was all that Chad could think.

After all that happen Taylor wouldn't really leave her house she was still upset about the break-up. After begging Gabriella and Chad finally talked Taylor to go out that night. So Gaby, Troy, Chad, and Taylor went to the local hang out spot. They were all having a great time. It was open mic night so they were listing to the people singing. Chad left for a sec cause he had to go to the restroom. So the rest of them were just talking when they heard it. "Up next we have Chad Danforth let have a big welcome for him." The crowd started cheering. "What in the world is he doing?" Taylor questioned. "Shhh… just listen" "Umm… thanks this is for Taylor McKessie. I hope you like it, so here I go." Taylor was amazed at Chad voice.

Then Chad walked off the stage and started walking towards Taylor still singing.

Chad had finally reached Taylor and offered his hand to her and she took it. When she fully stood up he pulled her close, still singing, looking her straight in the eyes.

As he finished the song he said, "Let me be your hero." Then Taylor couldn't take it anymore she did it. She kissed him. He was surprised at first then he kissed back with much passion. The crowd was cheering and shouting. Gaby and Troy just smiled at each other knowing that it was going to happen eventually. When they finally broke apart they both had big smiles on their faces. Taylor spoke "You've always been my hero!" Chad smiled and kissed her again. "Let's get out of here!" Chad told Taylor with a smile still on his face. Taylor just smiled and nodded. So the couple ran out hand in hand.
