Percy POV
I took Nico inside and gave him a piece of my blue birthday cake. It looked like he handy eaten in days. I let him eat first before we talked seriously. After I gave him the cake I went to explain to my mom that he was my friend. When I went back he was done eating. "So Nico what's you plan?" I asked. Before he could answer the doorbell rang. "Hold that thought, I'll be right back." I ran to open the door and I was shocked at who I found at the door. "Annabeth is that really you?" "Yeah I needed to talk to you." She replied, but she sounded kind of nervous. "Uh, ok come in, actually Nico is here." I said. "Uh, Percy can I talk to you in private?" she asked. I nodded. I took her to my room and shut the door. "Ok, what did you want to talk about?" "First I wanted to say Happy Birthday, and uh the second part is uh, I don't know how to say it." "Come on Annabeth I'm your best friend you can tell me anything."
Annabeth's POV
God I though this wouldn't be this hard! After a long sit in silence I finally spoke "Percy can I show you instead of telling you?" "Uh, yeah sure." I put my hand of his cheek and looked deeply into his eyes. He looked worried about me. Then at that moment I did it. I kissed him. It only lasted about 3 seconds. When I pulled back I said "Percy I think I'm falling in love with you, you're my best friend in the whole world. I don't know what I do without you." I poured out my heart to him. I looked at the ground after I finished.\
