Prompt- Fool
His arms usually found her this way. She would be standing in the kitchen, creating or cleaning one thing or another and he would slide his hands around her waist, setting his lips to her neck, nuzzling his face, breathing in her sweet scent. He would hug her back to his front relishing the fact that he was allowed to do so. He wouldn't take too many liberties as they were not yet wed. But she wouldn't object to this form of affectionate greeting when he came home in the evening.
She would smile and he would sometimes tickle her sides. Where she would slap him away breaking the spell. Though this time he didn't tickle and he didn't let go. He softly swayed with her in their kitchen. She rested her head against his chest and welcomed the closeness, when he spoke.
"I want to propose something to you."
She smiled and said, "You already have me, Lucien. No need for a second declaration."
He could here her grin and squeezed her a little tighter at his love for her quiet humor and smiled into her neck with a kiss.
"I was wondering what you think about our room…" He could feel her body stiffen slightly under his touch. Whenever they discussed marital matters they were always at a respectable distance. The intimacy of the talk would always charge them both where they knew it best to maintain a proper berth.
He nuzzled her ear with his nose to calm her back to her previous state. He knew her knees would at least give way a little at the action. He continued with his soft murmurs,
"All I know is, I want you all to myself and I'd like to have the privacy a newlywed couple needs, behind thick, soundproof doors."
Her hands clutched at his forearms as he felt her breath shallow.
"And I think the studio would be just the place for us to…practice our marriage." His lips found her earlobe and gently nipped at it. "What do you think? Would that be desirable for you?"
She huffed a small laugh. "I'm not sure."
She turned in his arms and wrapped hers around his neck.
"I think I might need some convincing as to its suitability," she teased. "I have my doubts."
When he started walking blindly backwards with her arms still around his neck smiling, two fools in love, leading the way to those very thick, soundproof doors.
A/N: I wondered why they were so flustered when Rose asked about the studio. This was the result. Review if it made you smile.
