Hey guys, its LoveToLaugh with a short and hopefully sweet GG oneshot. I wrote this last year for the holidays, and I hope you like it!

I hate you Macey.

I regret ever calling her my best friend.

My 'best friend' Macey McHenry was having a New Years party at her house (*cough mansion cough*). Now usually I'm less hateful of parties, but that's when Zach is here.

Zach, my Blackthorne Boy is on a stupid (ok well, it's not really stupid, but he's not with me so I say it is) mission. ON NEW YEARS EVE!

So I'm standing here, looking at myself in the mirror wearing a brand new emerald green floor length dress (which I was forced to buy, by the aforementioned best friends), with 4 inch stilettos, my dishwater blonde hair falling down my back in crisp curls. Sighing to myself I grab my purse, and head on to my car.

15 minutes later, I'm greeted by my best friend.

"Hey Cam!" She exclaims pulling me in for a hug.

"Hi Mace." I reply with a tired smile. She gives me a look of understanding. Just then Bex and Liz join us. Seeing my expression, Liz asks,

"Is Zach not back from his mission yet?" I shake my head no.

"Oh honey." Bex says, pulling me into a hug. Soon Liz and Macey join in.

"You don't have to stay Cam." Macey says.

"No, Macey it's fine. I really want to spend the new year with you guys."

"Okay, well come on in!"

I spend the next 20 minutes socializing. First greeting Grant, Jonas, and Preston, then moving on to all of our former classmates. Now it's 10 minutes to new year and I'm on on the terrace, looking out at the stars.

"I miss you Zach." I whisper as a single tear rolls down my cheek.

"I missed you to Gallagher Girl." I turn around so fast I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash.

"Blackthorne Boy?" I whisper incredulously, turning to see none other than Zachary Goode, dressed in a suit, holding a bouquet of roses. I run up and give him a huge hug.

"Zach, how are you here?! I thought you were on your mission!"

"I wasn't going to miss out on New Years Eve. There is no way I would leave you alone on such a big occasion." He says with a warm smile. Ok. Come on cammie. You can do it. Today's the day, I'm finally going to do it.

"Zach there is actually something I need to tell you. Zach...I-i-I love you!" I blurt out. He just stands there shocked. "I knew it. I shouldn't have done it. He doesn't love me back." Is all I think turning awaybefore I'm pulled into his chest, as he buries his head in the crook of my neck. In the background I can hear the countdown start, but really, I couldn't care less. All I cared was that the one I love, my other half, is standing in front of me, alive.

He pulls his head out of my neck.

4...

His emerald green orbs pierce my own.

3...

"I love you Blackthorne Boy."

2...

"I love you too Gallagher Girl."

1...

He leaned in, and so did I.

I both felt, and heard fireworks.
