Unsure when to stay or take flight.

Set my feet on the ground,
Nothing felt ever more right.
You gave me strength in the direst of times,
You gave me light in the darkest.
You gave me hope when all hope seemed lost,
You always calmed the tempest.
When my heart went astray,
A price had to be paid,
You stayed by my side my Savior,
And even the anger
Of spirits on high
Could never make you waver.
Your love is my light
And your soul is my strength.
Without you I am incomplete.
And there will be none other
To match your wonder
Who with you could ever compete.
