AN: Hey guys I'm back! Sorry for not updating Seeing You Again...I just dont know where to go with that one anymore :( Sorry! Hopefully you all will like this one! Please review and tell me what you think (even if its just a flame...) This is just the intro to the story, the next chapter will be longer
Growing up as the sheriff's daughter in as small of a town as Mayberry can make a girl very sheltered, or appear that way. Luckily for me, I had Alice Cullen. She was the best friend a girl could ever ask for, even though I swear she found amusement in my suffering. It was because of her that I learned how to ride a horse, become less socially awkward then I already was, and knew how to accessorize appropriately, the most important thing in her book. She was also the one who helped me get out of that tiny little town to try and move on to bigger and better things. Which brings us to why I'm sitting in the library at Seattle University about to burst into tears from just reading an email. It was from Alice.
Bella. I know you've been trying to avoid this town for the past four years, but you NEED to come back as soon as possible. Not only will Jasper be returning from his year-long tour in Iraq, but Charlie had a heart attack the other week. Before you go freaking out he's fine! Dad took great care of him when they brought him into the hospital. Charlie made us swear not to tell you since "it wasn't that big of deal" (his words not mine) and that's why Emmett never called to tell you. I on the other hand thought you had the right to know. That's just the tip of the iceberg of why Mayberry needs Bella Swan back. Please comeback soon?
Alice
I couldn't believe that no one else had decided to call me or at least email me about this before Alice did… Was I really disconnecting myself from everyone back there that much? I mean Emmett calls me every once and a while, but why wasn't he telling me about all of this? Charlie had a heart attack? Jasper was coming home finally? What else could be going on back there? Either way I was determined to get out there within the next week or two.
