Summary: I'm using the song Hold on by Good Charlotte to write this fanfic. Kai Has had it with this world. He is tired of it. R&R. ** **=Lyrics
Kai sat in his room. He held a knife in his hand. Today was it. Today he would end it all.
**This world this world is cold But you don't you don't have to go**
He thought back to everything that happened. His girlfriend had been in a car crash. After she got to the hospital, she vanished. Nobody knew where she was. Kai had become even colder after that. Ray betrayed him and Tyson… well Tyson was Tyson. He remembers how once his mom left his dad beat him. Then Boris and Voltiare came into the picture.

Kai took the knife and carved the word LOST into his arm. He watched the blood trickle down onto the white carpet.

He laid the knife down at his side. It had been days since he last slept. The drowsiness and blood loss was getting to him.

He always asked himself "Why do I even live? What is my purpose? Who am I?" He thought 'I have nothing to live for.' He picked the knife and slashed his upper left arm.

Kai placed the blade on his wrist once again.

Ray ran as fast as he could to Kai's room.

Ray burst into this room just as Kai was fixing to finish himself off. "Don't Kai!! Please!! I came to apologize for leaving!! You have no clue what will happen to everyone if you do that! You think we don't care but we do!! What would Rena say if she found out you were doing this!!" Ray yelled at Kai as tears fall down his face. Kai didn't move the blade. "… Rena is dead!!! I know she is!!! She wouldn't care!!"
**What are you looking for? What are you waiting for?**
**Do you know what you're doing to me? Go ahead! What are you waiting for?**
Kai dropped the knife and it fell to the floor. Ray sighed in relief. "…… Sorry Ray… Rena… Everyone I ever hurt…"

They both walked into the living room and Ray headed towards the bathroom to get something to wrap Kai's arm in.
As Kai sat on the couch somebody knocked on the door. He got up and opened it and when he opened it a young girl about the age of 16 was standing there. Her black hair was down to her thighs and her silver green eyes seemed lost and awkward. Kai took the girl in his arms and hugged her. "Rena. What happened?" he asked the girl as she began to cry on his shirt. "Kai, I'm glad that Ray stopped you. I called when you were gone and Ray answered I told Ray I was coming by. He told me how he found a suicide not you wrote. I'm glad you held on." Kai smiled and Ray walked in. He smiled.
