Authors note: Sorry guys if this is a bit short, but the story really doesn't really need to be much longer. If there are any additional things you think I should add to the story to make it better please mention it in the comments and I'm really sorry that it's so sad.

The land was dying, rain hadn't fallen anywhere for two years. All hope was lost the End was near, the demonic heat had taken over the lives of millions, hundreds of thousands innocents lay dead as the heat had no mercy. The rain had keep him trapped unable to surface for years, then the rain fell for the ice, never leaving his side to prevent him being lost to the heat that was forever rising. She left humanity to die in the hands of a demon for her love she felt towards the cold continued to tear her apart from the inside, to leave was to let her soulmate die, to stay was to let the END continue to murder all life and continue to destroy till the fresh streams where dry, the rain forests turned into deserts and animals suffer long and painful deaths. What could she do to stop these atrocities? "Leave," the ice whispered "Save the lives of the innocent, save the children so they can grow and see the stars, don't let the Heat keep them to himself."

The sound of his broken voice tore her heart to shreds, she would have to sacrifice him for them, a price he was so willing to pay. "Why?" asked the rain "They helped the heat rise, they stole your life from you, what makes you think they can change?" Rain started to fall as she felt herself crying.

"They sent me you to save me." he answered softly, "Two years with you is worth my life." The ice pushed the rain to the land slowly feeling himself melt and join the sea. "Remember!" he called "I am one with you now, I will never leave you."

With the loss of her love weighing down her heart, she cried the streams filled bringing back the fish, flowers blossomed and new life was brought into the world. For then on her tears and thought's of her lost love brought the world joy, every day she asked herself "Why does my pain bring so much joy?" Everyday she hears the same reply from deep inside her "Because you brought them love."

HOPED YOU ENJOYED IT!
