This is for my sister, call her Kristie. It's about Kristie (Jericho and Kole's daughter) and the source for my sister's nickname, and Jakey (Cyborg and Bee's son), also the source for my neighbour nickname. They're both from The Sky Stone and if ya haven't read it, I advise ya do! Lol, but ya don't haveta ;) Enjoy!

Umbrella
"Kristie?" Jakey called out, his voice echoing through the empty tower. "Yo good-girl! Where are you?" He turned on the sterio to find their mix CD was still in. 'Umbrella' by Riahnna and Jay-Z started playing.
It was raining outside but that didn't mean anything. Yeah, when it got cloudy, they'd be stuck inside, but they'd still act as if it was sunny and beautiful. Jakey knew Kristie and Kristie knew Jakey. He'd save money for rainy days so that he could go out and by snakes for the two of them. "Babe, I'm back. Kristie, my sunshine, girl where you at?"
Kristie heard Jakey get home. She was in her room, thinking. Jakey had her heart, and no matter how far apart they were physically, they were always together. All the publicity that Kristie got, being a female super-hero, didn't change anything. Jakey was her star. Nothing mattered because fame wasn't important. When ever Jakey needed her, she'd be there, and vise versa. She'd give him anything.
When it was shiny, they'd be there for each other. Jakey had said forever, Kristie promised she'd always be his friend. They took an oath and they'd stick it out to the end. Life was getting harder, rain falling harder, they knew that they could always count on each other. 'Cause they could stand under the umbrella that they created over them, blocking out all the negative.
Jakey looked out the window and saw that all they had. Being a super-hero had it's perks. But those things would never separate them. Kristie was in Jakey's life forever, no, longer than forever. Through every war, every bull crap hand of cards they were dealt, he'd help her heal every wound. Because he loved her and that's all that matted.
When it was sunny, they'd be there. Forever, as team-mates, as friends, as soulmates. That was why they were going to get married. Eventually. Through every hardship they had each other. Always would they share the umbrella in the rain.
Jakey could run into Kristie's arms when ever he wanted. He never had to worry, never had to be scarred. There was nothing separating them. The rain could pour as hard as it wanted. They always had each other. Nothing could change that.
They'd hide together until the sun came back out. If it took forever, so be it. They were best friends, they promised each other that when they said, "I Love You." Nothing could tear them apart, not even the largest hurricane. 'Cause their umbrella was stronger.
"Hey." Kristie said as she walked out into the commons room. Jakey was in the kitchen, getting their snack ready.
"Where were you? I've been home for a while." Jakey looked up at the pink haired girl. He swore her green eyes were the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.
"I was thinking. You know that you can always count on me right? That you can stand under my umbrella when ever you need to."
"Yeah, I know babe." Jakey smiled. He walked over to his girlfriend and captured her lips in a sweet kiss. "And you know that mine's always open too, tight?"
"Yeah." Kristie smiled back up at the man, staring into the green eyes of her team-mate, her best friend, her lover, her soulmate.
