Reboot. A preview of a possible fanfic. A parody of the introductory scene in SpongeBob SquarePants' To SquarePants Or Not To SquarePants. Takes place after There's No Place Like Greenback. Oneshot.

Watched the abovenamed episode the other day, where at the end, the narrator tells viewers to, in his own words, tune in next time, where, in a simpler story, 'Danger Mouse Reads A Book'. As any ideas for a fanfic based on such haven't materialized, decided to do a faux trailer based on such an idea.

(setting starts with clouds)

~Another quiet day in Mayfair, London.~

(camera pans towards a giant red mailbox by a street corner)

~But it wasn't always this way. Once, it was horrible.~

(lightning strikes. Live action footage of a bridge wobbling followed by people try to get a pig across a flooded street)

~The unimaginable happened. When, Danger Mouse-~

DM was seen on his sunken couch, reading a copy of i-Spy magazine.

~-reads a book!~

(a live action footage of a woman screaming, then fainting, plays)

DM then finished reading the mag. He put it away and picked up a copy of Top Gear magazine and started reading it.

~I remember it as if it were yesterday. But, in fact, in happened three days ago.~

(the calendar rewinds to three days ago)
