Words Don't Matter Anymore
Horseface
~A very short R/H. (I had writers block!)~
I never say what I want to say
So you'll never know
Remaining in the dark
I'm too deep down for you to touch
But still I reach out to you
Hoping one day
You'll know
And you'll say what I can never say"Hey."
Hermione looked up to see Ron standing over her seated position on the floor. Instinctively she covered the piece of parchment in her lap. The movement happened to catch Ron's attention.
"What are you doing? I thought you'd finished your homework?"
"Oh, this?" said Hermione, trying to act casual. She shrugged and proceeded to rip it up, before throwing the pieces into the bin. "It's nothing."
"Oh ok," said Ron, "You coming with me and Harry?"
Hermione nodded, "I've got to put my books away so you guys go ahead, I'll catch up."
"All right," said Ron, waving as he left.
Hermione's shoulders sunk as she was left by herself. Spotting a fragment of torn parchment, she picked it up and sighed wistfully.
"It's nothing at all."
Holding it over the bin, she gently let it go and it floated
down softly to join the other pieces lying among the rubbish.
