Disclaimer: I don't own Derek or Casey, but I do own a Daisy.
Hockey Date
It was the last hockey game of the season if they didn't win, if they did, they'd go on to the next level of the tournament. The team had done well, but if they lost…they wouldn't be the best anymore. Derek had been thinking more and more about Casey, so he hadn't been playing his best. He wasn't having those thoughts about kissing her like he often does with other girls he's interested in, he was thinking that he wanted others to back off. He as thinking that he was mad when others interrupted their arguments because Casey always said something that she didn't want to when they argued. He was thinking he was glad when he didn't understand and could try and pay her to help him. he was thinking he was glad she slept so much because then he could watch her sleep. He wasn't thinking that he'd like to kiss her. he was thinking with his mind and not the parts in the pants.
And tonight, Casey was the only one that could come to the game, and Derek would have to drive them. Derek was waiting because Casey was taking forever to get ready, probably primping for Sam, who it was obvious she liked. After all, he kept watching her blush and all that stuff around him.
When she came down, it was all Derek could do not to follow one of three instincts.
One was to go run and hide because he wasn't worthy to look at her in all of her beauty and because he wasn't worthy to take such a goddess to such an unworthy rink.
The second was to go up and kiss her senseless, it wouldn't matter if she didn't like it. he would.
The third was to grab her and order her to change into something that didn't make him want to kiss her senseless, and if she disagreed, he would gladly do it himself. Heck, he'd be up there no matter what.
But, he couldn't do anything of the sort. She was wearing the school colors and she was looking Damn good. The problem was, Derek needed to concentrate on the game, and this wouldn't help anybody at all.
Screw the game, or better yet, screw her. he thought before he took her hand and pulled her to the car to go to the game before he actually did kiss her.
He didn't make it. they stated a huge kissing session in the car at the rink, and Derek ended up late for the game and wiping her lip gloss off of his face.
So what if he lost to his second impulse?
She responded. That means she does like him.
At least, that's what he was thinking while he didn't notice the teammates trying to pass to him.
A/N I don't actually watch Life With Derek, but I saw few episodes, a friend got hooked on the fanfics and I got this idea from the half million that she ended up telling me about.
