"You don't believe me". It wasn't a question, she knew. She knew and yet she fell for everything, she was so desperate to be loved, to feel love.

"Rei, you know I want to, I really do, but with all that's happening… ". She laughed. He must've thought she was crazy, maybe she was. She was such an idiot she should've learned from her mother's mistake. A mistake, it was the only thing she could think of right now, everything was a mistake, the accusations, their relationship, and her.

"Reiko are you okay?" he asked. No, she wasn't okay. Why can't he see that, she wanted to beg, beg for him to believe her. She didn't care if they didn't believe her; all that matters to her was for the person she truly cares about believes her.

"So that's it then, just like that you're willing to give everything up. You're not one to listen to what other people say, what change?" She asked, looking in his eyes, eyes that used brighten up every time he sees her, used to hold so much affection, eyes that held those unspoken promises. Nothing, there was nothing and she hated it. Everything was falling apart, everything she held dear were all slipping away from her grasp. Reiko tried to hold back her tears, there was no use in crying the least she could do was to spare any ounce of dignity she has left.

He didn't answer. Reiko smiled, tears streaming down, she wasn't strong enough for this, so she did what she would always do in situations like this; walk away and don't ever look back. She did, slowly at first hoping he would stop her, to call out her name, when he didn't, she ran as fast as she could not even looking where her feet was taking her.

She always believed that the sun was constant in her life but now she doesn't even know.

She was in the city starring at a dead end and she did what any sane person would do, she screamed. It hurts so much, she was so tired, so tired of being alone, why can't she be selfish for once. That was all she was asking for, a chance to be selfish to think about herself for once.

"This is where I say 'I told you so'". She turned around and saw Luke. No, it wasn't Luke it was Kronos, if the golden eyes were any indication.

"If you came here rub it in my face….."

"No, no of course not my dear..." He said trying to soothe her. "I came here to offer you a second chance." She scowled.

"You're looking at it the wrong way Reiko". He smirked. "I'm merely giving you a chance to start over, isn't that what you want, I could make you forget the pain. So, what do you say?" He held out his hand for her to take.

"Why are you doing this? What's the catch?" Kronos laughed which made her scowl again. "Nothing, I just want Olympus to realize what they had lost." She looked sceptical for a moment.

"You promise I won't remember the pain." She looked so desperate, Kronos smiled.

"Promise" She reached for his hand, just this once she thought. She held it like a life line and her vision started going hazy, the last thing she saw were golden eyes that held many secrets before everything went black.
