AN – Londoners! You stay inside and safe, alright? You're in my thoughts and prayers. I know I'm not one of you, and not even British, and I have no place to say anything about this, but – London is the greatest city in the world, and this is breaking my heart.
After Uther died, Camelot began to pull apart at the seams. The people, rage lit afire by a nameless hate, burnt and pillaged and destroyed. It took time, so much time, but eventually Arthur retook control of his city. But here, now, the night had ended. Morning had come.
"What now?" Gwen whispered, grasping Arthur's hand.
"We start again," Arthur said, "We move forward. We carry on."
The sun was rising in the east, as it had the day before and would the next. The wind was blowing and a bird sang.
And in one city, a people began again.
