-Kota's POV-

I am the leader of the group. I worked really hard at boot camp to become the leader. But somehow things are going on in the group that I am not a part of. I know that sometimes there are private matters between one of the guys and Mr. Blackbourne or Dr. Green, but it is more than that. I can feel it, I can even see it when we are in a family meeting. I see the way some of the guys share glances and have silent conversations whenever Sang is mentioned. I trust my brothers, all of them, but something is going on and I am done waiting for someone to come to be about it.

Kota: Mr. Blackbourne, I need to have a private meeting with you as soon as possible.
Mr. Blackbourne: My office, after school. Dr. Green will be at the hospital already.

I texted Nathan to let him know and that he could take the car to bring Sang home.

I knock once on the office door then let myself in. Mr. Blackbourne is sitting at his desk. His computer is off and he has his hands together on the desk, letting me know that I have his full attention. Good.

"Mr. Lee, take a seat. I trust if you could wait until after school that everyone is accounted for?"

"Yes sir. I wanted to discuss what has been happening between you and some of the others." Of course he doesn't show any emotion. Mr. B. has the best poker face of the group, but hopefully he knows that I am done playing around now.

"I am not entirely sure I understand what you mean Mr. Lee. Feel free to elaborate."

"I mean I have noticed the silent communication between you and some of our brothers. More specifically North and Victor."

He still doesn't show any emotion, but he does take a moment to answer. That means something. It always means something with Mr. Blackbourne.

-Mr. Blackbourne's POV-

He can only be referring to one thing. I knew Kota was observant but I thought we were careful. I don't know if he is ready to have this discussion.

"Well Mr. Lee, you know that sometimes there are private matters that I handle with individual team members. They will come to you when they are ready or if they need to."

"I understand that, but I think it is something more than that. I usually catch your silent conversations when the discussion turns to Sang. I know that not everyone agrees with me when I say that I do not want her in the Academy and I want to know if you and some of the guys are trying to go around me to get Sang ready to be more involved in Academy business."

This is not good. I can't have the team leader second guessing the loyalty of his brothers. I only have one choice…

"You are right Mr. Lee. There is something going on that I have discussed with Mr. Taylor and Mr. Morgan. I am aware now, that I need to bring you up to speed. But I need you to listen to me and let me fully explain before you make a comment. I hope, once I am done, you will understand why we have tried to keep it a secret for now."

"I hope so too Mr. Blackbourne. Sang means too much to me…uh, everyone to play around with secrets."
