The silk whispered across her skin as they moved together. Their breaths came quick and forcefully as they panted for air. Their movements were slow and leisurely, not hurried like all the many times before. No, this time he wanted it to be special. This time he wanted to show her how much she meant to him, how much he loved her.

And as he worshipped her body, she had no doubt in her mind that he did.

Everyone despised him. Everyone thought that because of who he was, and how he was made, he was a monster. They judged him for who he was on the outside instead of who he was on the in. But she didn't. She loved him, inside and out. It mattered not to her who he was. And he loved it.

She begged him. Begged him to go faster. Begged him to love her. Begged him for completion. Begged him not to stop.

He could kill her. Had tried to kill her. But he didn't. Instead, he loved her, worshipped her, made her feel complete. And she loved it.

As he entered her slowly over and over, not bothering to restrain his pleasure, they thought of their forbidden love.

But still she loved him. Still she remained with him, by his side.

And he loved her even more for it.

He moved harder, but kept the slow pace. They were close. So very, very close. He thrust one last time, and with a final cry, they both fell. Without hesitation, he marked her. He bit into the junction of her neck and shoulder. There, his symbol showed itself.

And in the soft light, the strawberry colored spider appeared.

Deep into the night, Naraku held Kagome as she slept. Just basking in her presence.

Now, she would always be his to love. His to hold.
