Love's Ambition

(It was a nice night. Crickets were chirping. Cloud and Aeris were walking along the beach on Costa Del Sol. It was their 6th anniversary.)
Cloud: Nice, night, huh Aeris.
Aeris: (looks up into the sky) Yeah….yeah it is…..do you realize we've been happily married for 6 years now?
Cloud: (looks at Aeris) Yup, yup. I realize. I can believe it, too. We are perfect for each other.
Aeris: I think so too.
Cloud: That's great………….I love you, Aeris. Don't you ever forget it.
Aeris: Nope, I never will!
Cloud: C'mon, let's lay down in the sand here. We can stargaze.
Aeris: Okay!
(And so, they lay down on the sand and watched the stars….)
Cloud: Your face glows, Aeris.
Aeris: Really?
Cloud: From the first time I saw you…..I knew…….I loved you…..you were so pretty…..like an angel……..Aeris…….
Aeris: Cloud……kiss me, Cloud……..
Cloud: Yes………I will……
(and so, Cloud and Aeris's lips gently touched. A single rose was growing beside them in the sand…….and it seemed like a vibrant red pillar…..and then, there was a shooting star……….moving past Earth and into the infinite universe……..)
