With her trembling hands she grabbed her hood and wrapped it around her small form. She looked towards the sliding door, knowing if they were to get caught it would be life or death for her friend. Sakura, the young girl who is now wrapping the last of her things in a small pack, if caught it would be jail then death…yet she continues to go along the plan to get away…to finally leave this wretched place. Standing behind the sliding door, she looked back and said, "Lady Hinata…it is time."

Wiping her tears away with the palm of her hand, Hinata rose from her seat, pack ready as determination replaced her worry. "Let's go."

Tonight was their last chance to leave, for their freedom against the clan's rule. Their risk was worth the thought, the pain, the sorrow, and the memory. Tonight there would be no regrets and no fear. They slide the door open and both, hand in hand, took that leap of faith to a new life and new beginning.

"There is no turning back now," said Sakura as she squeezed her friend's hand.

"I know..."
