Hey guys new story from me, had the first chapter and some background written in rough for a while, but never got round to (and at the time lost the motivation) typing it up and posting it; but recently ive had lots of motivation for it (at a rly annoying time with exams soon too), so now im typing up the first chapter changing one or two things along the way, and have already planned a few chapters and quite a lot more of the story and background so I should actually update every now and again, hopefully. PS sorry the titles kinda crap.

Also this story is M because not only is their sex scenes but other dark elements too, so sorry if they upset you, it's just a story idea that came to my mind and I kind of went with it without fully thinking, so sorry; however its only close-ish to the beginning and once it's done its done, it won't be an element spread through the entire fic.

Another thing, the characters may be considered quite OOC in this, I have basically just taken their names and personalities, even Red is slightly taller than Green in this.

Oh one last thing, I am british, sorry if some the stuff like the education system stuff makes no sense to you, but at the same time not sorry, learn something about a different culture.

Green sighed, he started staring at his work partner for the project they had to for physics; unfortunately for him however the person sat across from him, Red, who was trying to figure out what Green had just explained to him, was also his crush, great.

Red looked up to see Green staring at him, "what?" Red questioned suspiciously; Green realised he had been staring since the sigh and now been caught, 'shit' he panicked to himself.

He came up with a quick excuse and put it in action, so he purposefully kept staring, "what?" Red said again this time more irritated. "What?" Green said dazily looking like Red had snapped him out of a trance, "What're you lookin' at?" Red questioned annoyed; Green pretended to look confused (convincingly too), "erm, nothing, why?" Green replied continuing his act; "you were looking at me you weirdo" Red chuckled, "ha sorry, was just staring into space" Green apologised, successfully sounding innocent. "Whatever" Red smirked then went back to trying to understand what was on the page of notes in front of him.

Green decided to start actually doing his work too, instead of being an accidental creep, because to be fair to Red it was weird, so he looked down at his notes, and unlike Red he actually understood them, in fact this confused Green, he's heard Red say in the past that he doesn't like physics, hates in fact, mainly because he can't do it, so why did he do it for A-level? In the first piece of assigned assessed homework fortunately for him you get to do with a partner, but still he looks like he's currently regretting his life.

Green looked back down at his work but was still thinking; they were sitting at one of the table in the study area of the sixth form building, their weren't that many people at the other tables considering its 3rd period, although this day apparently quite a few people have a free period now, and seen as its just before lunch, they'll be out in the town for lunch to avoiding the year 11 crowd who get to leave for lunch; these people including both of some of Green and Reds friend groups, although Green had made sure to ask Blue to get him something.

Green at this moment in thought just realised the temperature of his surroundings, quite sensitive to the cold he put on his hoodie, he hated the cold too (he thinks that the heat coming from Reds overworking brain was getting him by up until now), what didn't help though was the newly introduced sixth form uniform top was pretty thin; Green thought it was weird about the new uniform, they were the first sixth form year 12s to wear a uniform, even the year 13s weren't made to wear it, probably a stupid school council idea probably after the infamous "fuck her right in her pussy" t-shirt incident last year; but anyway to be honest it wasn't much of a uniform, I think it's just there to avoid inappropriate t-shirt incidences again.

It was basically just a white polo shirt with the sixth form logo, and then we have to wear the ID tags which sixth formers have always had to wear, and "must be seen at all times" as emphasised by teachers; but he honestly Green was just happy he was still able to wear his usual black jeans, (he hated school pants, they were itchy); he also wore his favourite purple zip hoodie, his easy slip-on-able comfy DC hi-top shoes, and also when he wanted to, one of his beanies, although he rarely wore one at school; he also sometimes wore his glasses at school if he couldn't be arsed putting in his contacts, although he avoided wearing his glasses as his friends would dub them as 'hipster' glasses although usually he didn't care anyway.

Red wore basically the same get up, black jeans, red converse, a red zip hoodie if he was cold, his usual cap which he always wore even if he wasn't supposed to, and of course the white uniform polo with the collar up.

Apparently according to Gold he wasn't very happy when he found out about the whole new uniform thing, I think no uniform in sixth form was a freedom he was looking forward to.

Green thought that Red looked pretty cute, he has straight black hair, *cough*emo-hair*cough*, and a unique and uncommon feature to him were his eyes, they were pure red, (probably where he got the nickname from), lower down in school he used to get bullied for them as although eyes of all colours weren't unheard of, red was rare, the kids used to say they were red because he was a monster and that's why he was angry all the time, harsh really, I never got it, I always thought they were pretty cool, they still are, and pretty too, but I worried that if I told him that he'd think I was joking and mocking him like the others so I never mentioned them, although my dad used to tell me that my eyes were emerald not just green, even my friends have mentioned they're a pretty colour, I once caught Gold staring at them.

Hair wise me and Red differ a bit, my hair last time I looked was a light-ish brown, it's also a little messy at the sides and back, although the front is straight and kinda spiky almost. Red I think is also now a bit taller than me, can't be by much though, it wasn't last year I was one of the tallest boys in the year, even taller than Gold, how dare people grow.

Green was snapped out of his train of thought with a loud clattering, Green looked up, the pen was followed by Reds frustration, "fuck this, I can do any of it" followed by him dropping his head on the table.

"Shh, calm down, if a teacher hears you shouting and swearing in here you'll get in trouble, just 'cause you're a sixth former doesn't mean yo-", Greens plea was interrupted by another irritated yell, "shut up Green!" from Red with his head still on the table, "sorry" Green said looking down and sounding a little hurt, Red looked up, "don't be, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have snapped at you" he said feeling honestly a little guilty, "thanks" Green responded smiling his usual smile, Red then quickly put his head down again.

The apology kinda confused Green, usually after unfairly yelling at people or starting a fight, a teacher usually has to get him to apologise, he never does it willingly, and even now it didn't sound like he was forcing it out or anything, kit sounded honest, weird. Green giggled, "what?" Red asked curious, "nothing" Green replied, "was just thinking about you", "what about me?" Red asked more curious and now slightly worried; "haha, its nothing, I was just thinking about that time in year 7 when instead of just telling someone to shut up, you threw a chair at them" Green chuckled again, "aha, too be fair to me he was making fun of me, what was I supposed to do?" Red responded defensively, "how about telling them to shut up or just ignore them" Green said in a condescending and amused tone, "why ignore them when you can throw a chair at them, it gets your point across a lot better" Red said like it was obvious but joking, causing them both to laugh.

After their laughter died down Green continued, "you haven't changed much have you, you've always been the same old Red since year 7, although at least you don't throw chairs at people anymore", Red sighed, "yeh, I suppose, although I would say having not changed was really a good thing, I still did punch Pearl in the face the other day, he was being annoying", "yeh I heard about that" Green replied sounding a little unimpressed but forgiving, "you've always had a temper problem haven't you" Green sighed, "yup, aint nothing' I can do, believe me we've tried, people are just gunna have to deal with it" Red smirked.

Green laughed "unlucky for people then", "yeh" Red sighed, "hey, could you try explaining this thing to me again, I'm have no clue what I'm even looking at", "sure" Green replied.

The Brunet moved his chair to sit next to the Raven as he begun to explain, "you see this is just talking about electron configuration" Green explained then looked at Red who had a blank expression on his face, "you have no idea what I'm talking about do you?" Green questioned monotone, Red shook his head; Green sighed.

"How do you even know all this crap anyway? It looks like boring gibberish to me" red asked frustrated, "well to tell you the truth, I only get it because we've already covered it in more detail in chemistry" Green admitted, "oh, well that's just cheating" Red responded looking slightly annoyed, "I'm not sorry" Green said slightly amused; Red looked away and put his head back down, "arsehole" he muttered to himself to himself still sounding annoyed, "I can hear you ya know" green said monotone and slightly annoyed himself, "really don't care" Red replied sounding uninterested.

Green sighed, "you know that really confuses me though, I've even heard you say in the past that you hate physics and find it boring", "so?" Red interrupted tuning his head back to Green, "sooo-" Green continued, "why did you take physics?" Red flinched, "urm, my parents made me take it" Red quickly responded, "'urm, my parent'" Green quoted and questioned; Red didn't respond, Green continued, "come on Red im not that stupid, I can tell you're bullshittin' me" Red turned his head away from Green again, "come on, tell me" Green continued to pry; "Green?" Red said calmly, "yeh?" Green replied habitually, Red continued in the same calm tone, "you're 5 seconds away from being another Pearl", "fine, fine, ill stop" Green quickly replied sounding slightly worried for his own well being, "I was just curious" Green finished, Red sighed "whatever".

"Although I do have another question, which to be fair I do have a right to know? Green said with more curiosity; "you're pushing it Green" Red replied sounding irritated, "trust me this ones okay" Green quickly replied again, "fine, what?" Red said giving in but still irritated, so Green continued, sounding honest when he asked, "I was just wondering why you decided out of the blue commandeered me as your partner instead of just pairing with Dia; unlike me he's actually in your friends group".

Red sighed, "Because I punched Pearl in the face", "right?" Green replied confused, "so Dia isn't talking to me" continued sounding irritated (although not toward Green), he continued, "besides the idiot is worse than me at this stupid subject", "fair" Green replied, then continued being careful not to aggravate Red further, "but that still doesn't answer my question, why me? Dia isn't your only friend in the class", "god, is it that important to you? Red retorted annoyed; Green quickly backed down a little, "sorry, I'm just a little curious" he said in a giving up tone to hopefully calm Red down.

Red sighed, "ugh, fine; I suppose because you're the only one other than Dia I'm comfortable with, besides you actually understand this impossible subject, plus…" Red paused for a moment; Green kept looking waiting for him to finish, "…you're, unlike some of the other smart arses in the class, you're pretty cool, nice, and kind too" Red finished looking down from Green.

Green taken back a little by Red's compliments couldn't help thinking 'damn it's a times like these it's hard to ignore the crush', Green smiled, then replied, "wadda ya mean smart-arse? Just 'cause I'm decent at this subject doesn't make me a smart-arse it just means I'm not dumb" Green laughed but was interrupted by a sudden very painful feeling in his thigh, "ow". "Last time I give you a compliment" said Red sounding very annoyed, "and for the record I'm not dumb" Red finished.

Green laughed again, "haha, sorry, I was only joking" Green looked at Red who tuned his head away to pout, Green continued "honestly though thanks for the compliments, you're really sweet under that tough exterior", Red kept his head turned away, Green sighed, "when I said 'dumb' that's obviously a little harsh to be fair; its more like-" Green turned his head to look at Red again moment and saw Red closely glaring at him, Green even thought he could hear a little growl; Green stopped talking immediately and for a second looked intimidated like everyone else would, but then chocked up and started laughing.

This completely catching Red off guard and confusing him, no one he's ever done his school famous glare at has ever laughed before, although still kinda annoyed because Green was laughing at him instead of taking him seriously, "hey, hey, what's so funny?" Red questioned, Green replied as his laughter died down, "sorry, I had a hunch", this confusing Red even more, "what are you talking about?" he question again but sounding calmer, "no its just I thought I'd probably laugh when you pulled your infamous 'last warning glare' on me" Green answered, "well you're the first to laugh" Red replied still sounding a little confused, "not surprising, it is quite intimidating to most" Green explained, "but not to you?" Red asked, sounding like he was pondering the question in his own mind, "um, yeh, things like that have never really worked on me; although I do hate shouting hehe" Green explained further; "I really don't scare you?" Red asked again, sounding like he was having trouble wrapping that round his head, "no; personally I actually find it kinda cute-" Green started to answer before realising what he was saying after it was a little late; Green nervously laughed, "hehe never mind, let's move on" he finished still laughing a little bit, "so, are you getting any of the work yet? haha", Red was still looking at Green but smiling with an amused look on his face, "nope" he replied also sounding amused.

At that moment the bell for the end of the period rang; "ah well you hear that, lunch time, bye, see you fourth", Green and his stuff were gone; Red still trying to process how quickly Green had left, started thinking again but properly about what Green had let slip out, 'I wonder if him saying that means-, I dunno' Red pondered.
