Sara felt like screaming. Sofia had stormed into the lab where she had been working and started bitching about how she couldn't believe that Catherine was the new swing shift sup. Sara mouth hung open as Sofia kept on. Catherine is the new supervisor? What about Grissom? Sara started panicking. Sofia continue on how she couldn't believe what an ass Ecklie was to put Grissom as day shift supervisor. Sara breathed a large sigh of relief, then shook her head as she mentally reminded herself that she didn't see him as anything but a co-worker and friend. Sofia broke through as she mention that Catherine would be over Nick and Warrick, Greg was moving to day. She seems really pissed about that, why? Greg's doing really well. Sara said something to pacify her and then Sofia finally left. Sara sighed and looked at her watch and jumped up. Her new thing she had started doing was taking her neighbor's little twin girls and babysitting them for the day. She put away the case she had been reviewing and ran for the door. As she moved past Ecklie he gave her a smug ass grin that made her want to shoot him. She restrained herself from commenting and rushed out the door.
Hodges watched as Sara went past Ecklie and bristled. He didn't want anything to come between him and his knew friend, even though he knew he would've liked a chance with Miss Sidle, but it would never happen; well, not right now, yet. He smiled and went back to work. Grissom watched as Ecklie turned from watching Sara leave, smiling like the sorry smug bastard he was. Grissom sighed, If only murder was legal... and smirked at the images the thought produced. If only... he saddened at that thought. Things are better this way, at least he left me some from my team, even though I would have fought to keep her with my team... Grissom brightened as he thanked an upper deity that Ecklie put Sara with him.
