The Clone Wars have come to an end. In the wake of the Republic's reorganization into an Empire, disgruntled former Jedi Knight Dante Volero reacts to these events in the pages of his journal. Due to his expulsion from the Order on the eve of the Clone Wars, he never took part in the conflict and thus was spared from Order 66. But what will he do with this immunity?

STAR WARS: Dark Confessions - Entry I

The following is an excerpt taken from the journal of Dante Volero, a former Jedi Knight.

Year: 19 BBY

The war is over. The separatists have been successfully defeated by the Grand Army and their loathsome Jedi generals. But there is more. Tonight, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine addressed the Galactic Senate, revealing the discovery of a Jedi plot to take over the Republic. I've known for years that they are heartless, narrow-minded, hypocritical zealots. And now the rest of the galaxy knows it too. The Jedi's betrayal of their code and the government is as plain as the deformation they inflicted on the Chancellor's face.

As punishment for their treason, the Jedi are now being hunted down in accordance with the Grand Army's Contingency Order 66. At long last,
the galaxy will finally have justice for the Jedi's deplorable dogmatism and warmongering. Now that my enemies are fugitives sentenced to death, I have the right to take vengeance on them personally. For myself, for Amata, and for all those they have wronged. By Palpatine's decree, the failing Republic has transformed in to a strong Empire, marking the beginning of a new era. One without the Jedi.
