Knock, Knock, Knock
"Be right there." said a voice from the behind the door. As the door opened it revealed a black hair teen girl which seemed to be around the age of 14. She was about 5'2 and her black hair went down to her waist and was stunning and more maturing looking for her age. She noticed the person that was knocking on the door. He was about the same age as her ,but was of the opposite gender. He was a couple inches taller than her and had blond spiky hair which looked like it was dyed but was natural, deep blue eyes and had three horizontal marks on each cheek which looked like whiskers and gave him a charm of a fox. "Naruto what are you doing here at this time of night." said the girl.
"Hey Chifuyu can I come in and speak with you for a second." replied Naruto. Chifuyu narrowed her eyes knowing something was off with Naruto because he wasn't acting like his usually cheerful self and was also he wasn't using one of her nicknames he usually called her by of either Chi-chan or Yuki. She motioned him to come inside wanting to know what was wrong with him.
"Where Ichika." Naruto asked as he was walking inside to the moderate sized apartment which the Orimura siblings inherited after their "parents" abandoned.
"He is sleeping, he was pretty tired after kendo practice. So what come talk about?" Chifuyu question wanting to know what her long time childhood and crush wanted to talk about.
"I am moving." told Naruto while looking at the floor not being able to look at her straight in the eyes as he broke the news only to receive a "gasp" from the host. "For my dad's company to start up we are having to move to the United States and we are having to leave tomorrow morning." Naruto continued as he started to look up to see Chifuyu have tears in her eyes breaking shell of the her usual stoic self into a soft and caring personality which was something only Naruto and few others knew. He immediately got up and wrapped her arms around her and gave her an embrace.
"Y-Yo-You're really are leaving." she muttered to him not wanting her childhood to leave. "You can't go you are one of my only friends along with Tabane." with tears freefalling from her eyes melting into his embrace. Remembering the all the times the blond was their for her from becoming friends when they first met to comforting when her parents abandoned her and brother. Him having to leave her life was something that really scared her.
"Shhhhhhh." Naruto whispered into her ear as she tried to comfort her as he still kept her in the embrace. "It will be alright and we will always be in contact no matter what and I promise that we will see each other again." he told her.
"So you promise you will comeback to me?" Chifuyu asked with a light blush on her face on what she just implicated and also wanting to make sure he kept her the promise.
"Yes I promise Chi-chan." smirked Naruto to dense to still understand the message that she was trying to send. He released the hug much to her discomfort and reached for the necklace around his neck and untied and hold it out to give to he. The necklace had green gem made out of a unknown mineral with it being a one of kind and very expensive making its estimated worth of three goldmines with the mountain on top of it. "I want you to have this necklace." he tells her.
"B-But you shouldn't give this to me Naruto this is your grandmother's necklace the one you said she gave as present and you told me yourself that it is only a one of a kind so it isn't right I take this from you." said Chifuyu shocked that Naruto would give her something so precious and expensive to her.
"No it's alright I still want you have it because when my Grandmother gave this to me because she said I was precious to her and that's why I want give this to you because precious to me and this sign of my promise and it will always make sure I will always comeback to you." Naruto answered unwilling to budge on the subject. Chifuyu light blush erupts into a deeper one as he called her "precious". "Hey Chi-chan are you ok you feel really hot and look your face looks red are you sure you aren't coming down with a fever." asked Naruto feeling her forehead.
"B-Baka of I'm alright." Chifuyu shouted swiping his hand away from her forehead. 'Naruto you have got be denser than brick' she signed.
"I guess this good-bye for now" Naruto said as he leaves the apartment.
Ten Years Later
The sun shun through the window signaling that it was time get up and get ready for the day for Chifuyu Orimura. In past ten years she has made quite the name for herself after her best friend Tabane Shinonono released the IS system where she was able to become the best pilot in the world but now she was settling for teaching in IS academy for new and upcoming pilots and she also got to watch over her brother Ichika Orimura the only male pilot in IS history. She woke up having her usual dream which slowly were becoming nightmares of the last encounter of her of the boy that she had a crush which slowly turned into love.
Its been ten years since they parted, ten years since he promised they promised they would reunite. After he moved he stayed in contact with her by either sending her letters or by emails for the first two years but then just suddenly stopped. She became scared worrying about what could of happened to the blond and as much she wanted to search for him she knew she had to watch over her brother. As much turmoil as she was in the inside she needed to stay strong for her brother and she knew the Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze never broke his promises that he would always comeback to her even though a voice in the back in her head screamed that he was only human and something bad could of happened to him. For now she pushed all that aside and went to get ready for the day.
"Hello Orimura-sensei how is your morning today." asked Maya Yamada the assistant teacher for her class greeted her and noticed the necklace around Chifuyu's neck and what it was. She finally managed to get the courage to ask her what it was. "Orimura-sensei I always wondered where did you get that gem that is tied around your neck because I never seen anything like that before"
Unconsciously she grip the necklace which was only reminder of the blond haired boy from her childhood and said " It was giving to me by a boy that was my friend in my childhood before he had to move because of his parents company. You probably won't see anything like this anywhere due to the fact it is one of kind in the world passed down as a family heirloom."
"Where is the boy now?" asked Maya only regret what she asked by seeing the look in the eyes of Chifuyu.
"I don't know honestly. He stopped contacting me along eight years ago and this necklace is the only reminder I have of him." said Chifuyu in a sad tone.
"I'm so sorry for bring that up." responded Maya immediately for bring up a sensitive topic of Chifuyu's.
"Its alright Yamada-sensei and I believe its best if we go get our food before all the students arrive." replied Chifuyu trying to change the topic as they started walking to the cafeteria to get their breakfast when her phone started to ring and she saw it was from security. "Yes what is it?"
"Ah sorry to bother you this early in the morning Orimura-sensei, but we have had reports on a suspicious character snooping around the grounds of the campus so we are informing to watch over and also to inform the students to watch out and report anything they know about the man." told the security.
"Alright I shall inform the students and report anything suspicious that happens." responds Chifuyu as she cuts off the call and faces to tell Yamada-sensei of their current situation.
Few Hours Later
All the students in class 1-1 were standing outside preparing for walkthrough on to get better improvements in controlling the IS.
"Alright class we are going to go over the sharp dive and stop again due our last attempt at this exercise led to failure." Chifuyu said coldly mainly narrowing her eyes at Ichika due to size of the hole he created last time. "Dunois and Bodewig demonstrate for us"
"Hai instructor/teacher." both girls answered in unison
After Class in Changing Room
"Man I am so tired at least I didn't screw up as big as last time." Ichika signed while change into his standard IS uniform and all of a sudden he heard his phone ring. "Yes?"
"Ichika I believe it is time we set our plan into motion." said the caller.
"If you are ready than we shall go with it and where exactly are you hiding right now." responded Ichika.
"I'm currently in the one of the empty teacher meeting room on the second floor, but get your crew and lets meet at the rendezvous point and started Plan Loveless." informed the caller.
"Hai." Ichika responded.
Two hours later in Class 1-1
"ORIMURA-SENSEI." Ichika shouted trying to get the attention of his sister only to receiving a smack on the head from her.
"Stop shouting you idiot your making too much noise and what do you want." Chifuyu asked her idiotic brother on what was so important to disturb her peace and quiet.
"Sorry sensei but something has happened to Houki because she was with a while ago and then it was almost as if she just disappeared into thin air and we searched everywhere, but we can't find her." said Ichika in a panicking voice.
'I wonder if this has anything to do with the person security has informed me about.' thought Chifuyu and faced her brother and said "alright I will help you find her because this could have something to do with the suspicious person lurking around campus"
"We have checked the main building of the school but we haven't found her the only places we haven't checked are the private halls and the battle ground because we don't have access to the grounds yet." informed Ichika
"Alright you and your groupies go search the private halls and I will search the grounds." order Chifuyu
"Hai." Ichika said as they split up to search for Houki. 'Soon Chifuyu soon' thought Ichika with a hidden smirk which Chifuyu failed to notice.
Few Hours later
"There got be something fishy going on we used ninety percent of the school and we still can't find Shinonono and what about the private halls Maya are you finding anything in there." Chifuyu asked her assistant who was operating the accessing the camera footage from the security cameras.
"I have tried to access the cameras bu-." said Maya only to be cut of by Chifuyu's phone ring.
"Yes what is it" asked Chifuyu.
"Ma am this is me Cecilia Alcott and Ichika been captured Ma am by the person we can't identify he is being held in Private Hall 2!" Cecilia shouted from the other side and you could tell she was panicking.
"Alright calm down I will get their as soon as possible." replied Chifuyu as she turned of the call.
"It seems by stupid brother has been taken hostage. That idiot always seems to find with anything he does." said Chifuyu slightly angry that her brother must of pulled a stupid stunt.
On the Other Side
"Alright sensei." said Cecilia as switched her phone.
"Your a pretty good actor if you managed to throw off Chi-chan." spoke a mysterious man from the shadows with blue eyes.
"What else do you expect from the great Cecilia Alcott from Britain." said Cecilia.
"Alright get ready for when she comes." order the man stepped out he had yellow hair and sharp blue eyes.
Couple Minutes Later
Chifuyu arrived in Private Hall 2 only to find all the light turned off in Hall.
"You brats better not be pulling a prank because if you are going to punished big time." sternly said Chifuyu finding it odd that no one was in the room.
All of a sudden the lights in the room turned on a sole figure with spiky yellow hair wearing a black suit was in the middle room.
"Hey Hey Hey! I'm not ready yet why hell did you turn on the light already you brats." complained the man standing in the room only to hear a "gasp" from Chifuyu who realized who it was. "Ne Chi-chan its been long hasn't it."
Chifuyu was in pure shock when she heard the voice the man and also she noticed the man who had three horizontal marks on each cheek and also had deep blue eyes. She had lump in her throat which was making it hard to say anything but she managed to squeak out "N-N-Nar-uto-Naruto." Only to get a nod. At that moment she didn't what to do either to go run to him and hug and squeeze the life out and never let him go as he finally came back to her or to beat the life out of him for making her worry all this time that something might bad of happened to him and not contacting her for the past eight years. She did the next best thing.
SLAP!
A stunned Naruto was standing there stunned with a red hand mark on his face as he just realized that Chifuyu just slapped which was the exact opposite of what he had expected. But next he was surprised again as she wrapped her hand around him and started to cry in his chest.
"Don't look." Chifuyu asked not wanting her to be seen like this. Getting memo he took her in a embrace put his chin on the top of her head rubbing her back when he heard say. "WHY!"
"Why what." Naruto asked confused on what she was trying to ask.
"Why haven't you not contacted in eight years and where were you all this time? Do you know how worried I was?" cried Chifuyu still not release him scared he might leave her again.
"I am really sorry about that. You see two years after I moved tou-san and kaa-san died when we got in a car accident 'gasp' and after that I was taken in by an secret organization. When I working in the organization I wasn't allowed to contact anyone including you because if I did it could of put the you or Ichika in danger. If anything happened you or Ichika because of me I wouldn't of been able to forgive myself. But through the ten years I have been away you are what been able keep me going and kept me strong." Naruto told her while trying to comfort her.
"Why now" Chifuyu questioned
"Well we have been able eliminate any threats us and so I decided to retire from them and come see you as promised." he confessed.
"What are you going to do now that you are done? You aren't going to leave me again are you?" she asked
"Well I have decided to take over my parents company again as it was put on hold and also I was offered a lab on this Island if to my IS programming for my company by the principal so I decided to take that up that offer so I could stay here with you." He answered as he let go her much to her discomfort. "Also there is something I wanted to do" he got on one knee and brought out a black box which he opened to have a silver ring with diamond on it making her gasp as she knew what he was going to do.
"Chifuyu Orimura you have been my friend since we were kids. I have had a crush since the first time I meet you and in the time we have been apart I realized how much you mean to me as you always kept me going no matter what I was against that was when I knew I was madly in love with you. So I ask you will you marry me." Naruto proposed waiting for answer nervously.
She stood their stunned unable to say anything believe this was a dream of the man she was in love with just proposed to her. Unable to say anything she just nodded giving her answer as yes. Getting he got on both feet slip on the ring on to her finger and pulled her into a deep kiss which he put all the love that he stored for all this time. She melted into it quickly returned the kiss in the same way with a huge blush on her face.
"I am guessing that's a yes." Naruto smirked
"..."
"What?" he asked
"O-o-of course that's a yes baka." she mumbled as she put her face into his chest as she was blushing.
"At least I am your idiot now. Alright guys you can come out now." he yelled signaling Ichika and his international to come out with all the girls having a gleam in their eyes of the romantic moment that just transpired wondering why Ichika couldn't be like that and Ichika to sigh in relief as her sister finally found the guy and could finally be happy.
He knew a biggest challenge was in front of him ,but this time he didn't have to face this challenge alone.
