Federation Colony-New Augusta
Nineteen year old Brian Shepard was going over the final checks. It was time for Brian to leave this colony; he'd waited four years for this day the day that his life was going to begin.
Brian's parents were in Starfleet, killed in action during the Dominion war. They left Brian an inheritance that wouldn't kick in until he was nineteen. During the time waiting Brian purchased much needed parts for his "Money Pit" Brian called it.
Argos One-Depo Yard
The owners of Argos One were a bunch of Vulcans, they were pleasant enough but Brian wasn't comfortable around them. Accepting their help on installing the warp core Brian purchased they left Brian alone to his own schedule of getting his "Money Pit" operational. "Whoever said Vulcans aren't material, Never met this bunch they took practically every credit of his inheritance" Brian sighed.
The "Money Pit" turned out to be a Federation Nova class science vessel that had some nasty damage form a Dominion weapon and was scrapped and stripped by the crew of Argos One. Brian toiled hard to get the basic systems operational after two months things were looking good and Brian set out for a star base.
Denobulan Medical transport- Hess
Cassandra Karr was moping again, she had again gotten no replies on her Medical Position she applied for. Cassandra was a 20 something, vibrant young Denobulan and what's worse she was a skilled Doctor. She graduated top of her class with a side major in Earth animal medicine. "All because I didn't want to join Starfleet Medical, I want to do this on my own not with Federation help" She cursed then sighed "I would even work on a civilian ship, but still no replies" Placing her head in her arms, then an alarm went off.
"What's this now" Cassandra said "Hm a civilian ship" She said. Deciding to hail the ship and strike up conversation (like there's anything pressing Cassandra needs to do).
"This is Captain Cassandra Carr of the Denobulan Transport Hess to Civilian ship, please respond" Cassandra said "Receiving you Hess, this is the Civilian cargo ship Heavens Charm Captain Brian Shepard speaking. you wouldn't happen to have any spare medical supplies would you" Brian asked "Why" asked Cassandra "Well this ship was stripped and doesn't have much of anything" Brian said "Sure I'll drop out of warp at the Hanna system meet me there, Hess out.
Hanna System
Cassandra was first to arrive the Hanna System is unpopulated containing mostly dead planets. "Finally he's here" Cassandra said, Her first look at the Heavens Charm wasn't to pleasant for starters there was massive weapon damage, virtually weak shields, and the only phasers visible were the two on the bow of the ship.
Cassandra put on a happy face as the final docking sequence was complete, she stepped onto a somewhat littered deck the Captain was human and had a disillusioned attitude of his ship but she bore this until they got to sickbay.
Cassandra put the supplies on the floor there were no bio beds or medical equipment of any kind just space, Cassandra went into the office reserved for the doctor. Brian poked his head around the corner "you ok" Brian asked "sure fine" Cassandra said snapping out of her own world. "Hey you wouldn't need a doctor would you" Cassandra asked batting her eyelashes "Umm ya I would you want the job" Brian asked unfazed by her tactics "Yes" Cassandra said breathlessly then she squealed as she went to empty her ship of her long collected supplies for her job "DOCTOR ME FINALLY" Cassandra shouted in her ship.
