Disclaimer: I do not own any part of spyro *tear* I am a 15 year old writing this because I am bored.

Ripto's rage was the first video game I ever owned, and there is a question that has bugged me for a while, why does Ripto hate dragons so much? Well, this is my attempt to answer, based on a mix between the headcanons of me and, itch I had to write some fanfic's for something other than The Hunger games, and my love for dystopian worlds (Only in fiction, real life one's… not so much)

Hatred

Ripto sat inside a private room inside the castle in winter tundra and thought to himself. Why did a dragon have to show up now, of all places and all times? Just when he had Avalar under his control, this was always what happened, those dragons had always ruined everything.

Back in his world the dragons controlled everything, Dinosaurs where seen as less. They were not magical like the dinosaurs and as such where certainly not considered to be good rulers.

And it wasn't just the government like this, it was everything. All of his kind were restricted. Couldn't do this, couldn't do that, so on and so on.

So then one day Ripto decided he was sick of it, and he started to teach himself magic, It was difficult and it took years just to be able to get the basic stuff down.

But eventually he got it down, even though he had always been told he shouldn't bother, told that he would only disappoint himself.

But he learned magic despite all of that.

As soon as possible, he left, travelling to different worlds, trying to take them over so he could then go back to his homeworld and rub it in the dragons faces.

He always failed.

No matter where he went, the dragons native to that area would always stop him.

And then he came to Avalar, a land with no dragons, and succeeded, he had finally done what he wanted.

And then that purple brat had showed up and threatened everything.

Not this time. He wasn't going to let it happen again.

Now filled with rage, Ripto stood, grabbed his new scepter that he had finished minutes ago, and walked to the castle arena to test it.

It would all end soon, and he wasn't going to let the past repeat itself again.

Sooo… It was short and I didn't like it, but it was an idea I had to get out of me, just don't flame me because like I said, I didn't like it either.
