Our Only Hope

Once I heard they were coming I gathered everything I knew I needed to survive. My name is Ryan Pain. I was part of the government before Germany took it over and shut it down. I was a sword specialist, an important figure but now I'm trying to stay alive. I'm in Texas right now but I'm heading North. For some reason I feel almost…. whats the word? Destined? Close enough, anyway I'm heading in that direction. I hear leaves crunch under someones boots. I unsheathe my swords and head silently towards the sound it's only one person, light footed but not enough to be completely silent. I decide to appear from behind it.
"Who are you?" I asked. It appeared to be a girl with a bow. She turned around startled grabbing her bow and notched an arrow in it before I could say or do anything.
"Whoa, I'm not going to hurt you," I said sheathing my swords and putting my hands up.
"Who the hell are YOU," she asked moving closer. Seeing as there was no choice I replied "Ryan Pain." her eyes lit up at the recognition of my name. She took the arrow out of her bow. I put my hands down knowing that she wasn't threatening to kill me….anymore.
"I thought it was you but I wanted to make sure."
"Who are you, and how do you know about me?" I said confused.
"I," she said," am a hunter and the best hacker in America! I am Skye O'Brien," she said dramatically.
"I've never heard of you. How can you be the best hacker without me hearing about you?"
"One of the reasons of me being the best hacker is that I'm invisible, I can hack a government site without anyone figuring out even another hacker." Skye said being real now.
"So Miss. Hacker, what's your plan now that you've found me?" I asked her.
"Well now that I have found you I figured we should find Chloe and Jason Jones and . . ." I stopped her before she got any further.
"Who are these Carly and Josh people?" I questioned her.
"Chloe and Jason" Skye said emphasizing Jason and Chloe. "Are Special Ops Team Nine and It would be wise to find them if we want to fight back, along with you…and," she continued before I could speak. " They are strategists so they would know what to do after we find them."
'Well It's not the worst plan and I don't have much to lose' I thought in my head.
