Chapter 1
Flashback-
"Luffy!"
I tried to tone him kept shouting at me, it was getting anoying. I heard him yelling somthing about 'stopping' or someting like that. I didn't understand why he was yelling at me though.
I heard a car screech, some yelling and screaming...what?The nothing...blackness.
Later I woke in a strecher in an ambulance. Everything hurt, so I couldn't turn my head. I used my eyes to look around was sitting there, right next to me. He had a worried look on his face, he looked down at me and tried to muster a smile, but I could tell it was difficult for him. I tried smiling back at him, it only ended up in me wincing in pain. A man came over to me with a needle in his hand and pricked it in my arm. I felt numb all over, then blacked out again.
I awoke, once again, in a hospital bed, the white sheets coving my body to my chest. I felt tired and my body hurt but not as much as before. I noticed that I couldn't feel my legs. It was as if they weren't there.
The room was completly white. White walls, floors, bed sheets, but there were a few splashes of color here and there.
I heard the door open and Ace walked in he came over to me and sat on the chair beside my bed. I sat up trying to ignore the pain. Ace gave me a sad smile then told me what happened. I was shocked. But I wasn't as shocked until he told me about my legs.
Beep Beep Beep
My alarm went off and i reached my hand out to turn it off. I stuck my head out from under my warm dark blue covers and yawned. My messy raven hair was even more messy since I just woke up. It was 8:00am a saturday
I slowly got out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up then chenged into my clothes and headded downstairs for breakfast.
It had been a year since that accident. It was a real hassel. I had alot of trouble walking, Ace had to help me at time to time and I did get to miss a month off school there were alot of rumours about me when I got back but I just ignored them. No one really knows what happened except Ace, Nami, Ussop, Zoro, Sanji, Chopper, Vivi and few teachers. I also intend to keep it tht way.
"So Lu, how you doing in school? You catching up okay?" Ace asked ,placing down my plate of waffels on the table as I sat down.
"Oh! yeah it's fine, i'm good" I replied, trying not to sound too nervous.
Ace grunted in response. I had afeeling He knew I was lying, I wasn't all that great at it. The truth was I was being picked on by number of different gangs in my school, but I've tried to keep it a secret from Ace for as long as I can remember. Somewhere along to line he found out.
Hi, I'm Monkey D. Luffy, a 17 year old teen who wound up in some crazy acident a year ago. I'm short and kinda skinny for my age which is one of the reasons I get picked on in my school, Grand Line High. This is my life.
