A/N: Theme 4... well, I'm not liking it too much, but I can't figure out what I want to say. My apologies for your eyes, which are falling out of your head at this atrocity. Sorry. Also, anyone who's read "Making It Count" might recognize this "Gayla." I'll leave it to you to figure out who she is!

Oh! Muchas gracias to Zelda12343 for reviewing the other 3 theme entries!

Okay, I think there's only one thing left to say:

Disclaimer: I don't own the Hunger Games.

4. Seeking Solace

A roar from the man who shakes his fist at the television, as the little girl screams and the mother bursts into tears.

"Why?" the girl asks, her wide brown eyes staring at her parents. "Why's Gayla gone?" This, of course, only makes them sob harder. They all huddle on the floor and try to calm down, to find comfort in each other, but it's hard. After all, part of their entire lives has been ripped away.

However, the world still spins, so they eventually get up and go to bed (though the little girl climbs in with her mother) and keep on existing. It's all a search, though, for what will never be given. Because what this family needs is solace, and that's not going to happen. They know it. The only person who could ever help them is Gayla, and she's gone. So they'll just keep seeking out the nonexistent and hope they find their child, sister, soon.
