A/N: Hey guys having a little writers block on our other story so we wrote a one shot. Hope you like it. Please R&R.
Kate's POV:
She had gone to Panama City every Spring Break hoping, wishing that he would be there. The only man that had captured her heart. She had left NCIS after she had been shot. It killed her to do so. She missed the team every single day since her departure but she missed him most. His laugh, jokes and their banter. Most of all she missed his smile. The one thing that could make even the most depressing day a whole lot better. Every year she had meaningless sex with guys on Spring Break. Should she say boys. None of them were like him. Sure he could be an ass but he also made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. She continued to walk down the beach as tears rolled down her face. She regretted not telling him how she felt after her nearly died from the plague. Now, here she was, alone on a beach at Spring Break. Waiting for him to come. If he didn't come this year, she knew that it was not meant to be. She stopped and sat at the waters edge thinking about him. She smiled as she remembered the bathroom incident. She played angry and coy but she really didn't mind. She started to hum the song. It made her miss him even more. She looked up at the sky. It was pitch black with stars. They seemed to be laughing at her misfortune. A shooting star came by. She closed her eyed and made a wish. The same wish she made every year.
Tony's POV:
When she left NCIS he felt his heart break. Working without her as his partner was different. It was weird. Sure, his new partner was coll but it wasn't the same. Ziva would never be her. He walked down the Boulevard thinking about her. The way her hair curled around her face and those beautiful chocolate eyes. The ones that he melted into. He tried to tell her how he felt when he was dieing from the plague but every time he tried, he'd cough up blood. He had watched her walk out and cry into Ducky's arms. He prayed to God that he could live just one more day so he could spend it with her. God had given him many but he still couldn't tell her. He walked onto the sand and let it run through his toes. He missed her so much. Every girl he had been with was nothing compared to her. He had only loved one woman; he would always love that one woman. Not a girl but a beautiful woman. He walked by the water's edge, came to a stop and looked at the sky. He saw a shooting star and made a wish. He didn't believe in wishes but he decided to make one, just this once.
Both POV:
She stood up and bumped into someone.
"Sorry." The familiar voice said gruffly.
"Tony?" She stood in shock.
"Kate?" He looked at her, "I thought I'd never see you again." he said giving her a smile.
"Me neither."
"What are you doing here?"
She turned away and let the tears fall. She wasn't going to keep this a secret any more.
"I've come here every Spring Break since I left, thinking I would see you again."
He tried not to cry.
"I love you, Kate."
She turned around and felt his lips crash down on hers. They kissed with so much passion that they could feel the earth shake. From that day on, they vowed to never part again.
