How can I begin to thank you for all that you have done for me? Where do I begin and would I ever be able to end? My words come out jumbled, I flounder, you smile patiently and suddenly I am falling even harder for you and your beautiful heart; my gratitude doesn't even begin to compare with your benevolence.
It's in the way you look at me, the way you talk to me, the way you look after me when I am injured, the way you keep my day of weakness hidden from my foes, the way you cry for me, the way you endured the pain I put you through. It's in your every movement, your every action, your every word. It's in the way you've remained with me, despite it all. Despite my own animosity, despite my treachery, my two-timing, wavering heart and weakness that could not let go of my past, I am infinitely lucky to be able to call you mine.
I look into your eyes, blue as the ocean, and see your love. You exude warmth, filling the gap in my heart to the brim, filling it so that it overflows, and I continue to fall deeper and deeper in love with you. I reach out and pull you close to me, taking you in, not minding if the world were to end at this moment as long as I have you in my arms. I kiss your lips, they are soft and plush, and I wonder if I've ever been on the receiving end of as much genuine emotion as this.
