I wrote this for my Advanced language arts class earlier this year and I decided to post it. PLEASE REVIEW!!

Johnny Cade
Johnny Cade looked like a lost puppy that
had been kicked one too many times.
He was the quietest in the gang.
He was somebody that didn't like to stand out,
even though his idol was Dallas Winston.
He was the kind of kid that could enjoy the sunset.
He could appreciate little things in life.
Unlike the rest of the gang he could admire poems.
Johnny wasn't the kind of Greaser that was like Dally,
The only reason he carried the switchblade was for serious self-defense.
Johnny idolized Dally,
But he really wasn't like Dally.
He had crappy parents like Dally probably had,
But his attitude on life wasn't the same.
He might have cracked like Dally did when his last support died,
But then again he might not have.
Johnny never wanted to kill anyone,
He was forced to.
He did the same thing many other people would do.
Would you just stand there and watch your friend die?
The Greasers wouldn't but the Socs would.
He was always the pet of the gang so to speak.
He wasn't a rough of tough (tuff) guy.
Johnny was soft and usually nice.
When Dally was bugging Cherry and Marcia Johnny stood up to his own idol.
He truly had more courage then anyone else.
