The woman formerly known as Emily listens to the so-called "consulting detective" ramble and her only thought is: "Oh, good God, there's two of them."
It takes a profiler to profile a profiler (and he is a profiler, albeit an amateur.) He's obviously both very smart and very well educated, and incredibly socially awkward. She wouldn't be surprised to learn he has a family history of mental illness and/or a personal history of drug use.
He is a British version of Spencer Reid, complete with floppy hair.
He's talking to her.
"Your name," he demands, exasperated.
"Irene," she replies. "Adler."
