Chapter 1: Summer Plans
Roy's P.O.V-
It was finally over. Beatrice, Mullet and I had finally saved the owls! But the best part was summer was finally here! That meant more time for me and my friends to hang out.
There was just one problem: Mullet Fingers had to lay low for a while since he just broke out of juvie. And that meant that Beatrice and I had to lay low with him whenever we wanted to see him.
Of course I didn't mind spending time with Beatrice, it was just without Mullet we were kinda awkward around each other. And not to mention the huge crush I had on her. I mean who wouldn't, once you saw through the tough soccer jock act, she was sweet, funny, and fun to hang out with! But I couldn't tell anyone I liked her, especially Mullet because he would most likely tell her and ruin my chances forever. But this summer I had a plan, Beatrice will become my girlfriend. But how…
Mullet's P.O.V.-
Woo hooo!!!!! Be and Roy are finally out of school! Now, even though I have too lay low, we can hang out all the time! Don't get me wrong, not having to go to school is fun but it get's kinda boring without your friends.

I can't believe it's already summer! It's gonna be quite interesting ever since I told Mullet I liked Roy. I mean it felt nice to get it off my chest but I am in big trouble since Mullet was already making plans for us together. I mean yeah he has street smarts, but romance?!? I think that was out of his league. I am really not in the mood for crazy surprises from him once I got back from soccer camp…
I really hope Mullet does get us together, I know I am not good with guys at all. The way I try and show them how I feel is beating up on the bully's who beat up on them! It is really lame and never gets the message across; I just hope cowgirl likes me back…
