Cait! Cait! Join me!

It was another one of those nights where Caitlin couldn't sleep she could hear Savitar telling her to join him. He knew her destiny. But Caitlin pushed it aside by remembering her scarlet speedster friend. Friend thats all I'll ever be. She thought No Caitlin you can't think like that he is your friend. He loves Iris and he will always love her.

"Hello Dr Snow" Said a voice from the Cortex which startled Caitlin. She turned around to see Julian.

"Hello Julian Please call Cait" She said turning back to her computer

"Ok Cait what are you doing" Julian taking a seat next to her

"Oh just checking some DNA samples not much What brings you here Julian shouldn't you be at work?" Caitlin asked

"Oh I just wanted to come by and see how everything was going but I should get going now maybe you would like to join to get some coffee later?" He asked

"Sure I guess bye"

"Bye"

The rest of the day went pretty normal

Cisco showed Caitlin new handcuffs he had created for her

"Thanks Cisco you really didn't have to do it" Caitlin smiling at the work her friend put in.

"Hey it was no problem well I have to go now it's getting late " Cisco said putting on his jacket

"Yea I'm just going to stay here for a little bit more bye Cisco" Caitlin said

"Bye Cait see you tomorrow" He said

Caitlin was running some DNA tests on her wanting to see how her powers was progressing. Suddenly in flash appeared Barry. Caitlin jumped a bit she still hadn't gotten used to Barry speeding into the lab every now and then.

"Hey Cait I didn't mean to scare you" Barry said walking over to his friend

"Hey Barry it's fine I'll get used to it" "Some day" she muttered the last part.

"Cisco called me to check if you were still in the lab " He explained

"Cisco never changes always worried about his friends" Caitlin smiled

"Neither have you Dr Snow you still spend all your free time working and not having fun" Barry chuckled

"I don't always work in fact I was going to get some coffee with Julian later" She said

That last part made Barry frown. Julian all of all people she could go with to get cofee it was Julian. He'd rather see her getting coffee with Ray. Julian he had such a hard time getting along with him. Wait why am I so mad it's just coffee not a date right? He told himself

"Barry!" Caitlin yelled snapping him from his thoughts

"Wha-"

"Were you even listening to me I said Its getting late I'm going home now" She said putting on her coat.

"Umm ok bye Cait see you tomorrow" Barry said

Tomorrow would be another day.
