This is stylistic so tell me you hate it, but especially me.
Car Crash Terror by the Hoxton Whore
Heather turns on the radio. Jay flips through last month's Hustler. Alex glares. Sully's driving.
Sully's kinda tired from last night. Heather goes through all the stations in one second. Jay reaches into his coat. Alex is still glaring.
Alex bitches about getting pulled over. Sully takes one hand off the wheel and flashes her the bird. Heather turns off the radio. Jay lights up a joint
Jay argues about the legality of toking while choking back another wave of giggles. Alex rolls down her window. Sully looses his concentration because of all the shouting. Heather takes a hit off of Jay's blunt.
Heather smiles. Jay says they should get something to eat. Alex crosses her arms. Sully feels his hands go numb.
Sully's discovering he can't focus on the road anymore. Heather lights a cigarette. Jay takes another puff. Alex crosses her arms.
Alex demands they stop the car RIGHT FUCKING NOW. Sully steps on the gas. Heather flashes an old man in a parking lot. Jay laughs.
Jay thinks the girls should switch spots. Alex says that's a fan-fucking-tastic idea, why didn't she think of it sooner? Sully passes around another car. Heather climbs into the backseat while they're going thirty-seven over the speed limit.
Heather sits on Jay's lap. Jay pulls Heather into a deep kiss. Alex says she's going to vomit. Sully closes his eyes for a second.
Sully doesn't open his eyes. Heather notices they're inching across the double lines. Jay throws a Cheeto at Sully's head. Alex yells at the little shithead to watch the road..
Alex thinks there's something profoundly wrong. Sully isn't waking up. Heather pushes his shoulder. Jay shouts that someone should try to grab the wheel.
Jay knows he can't do anything to stop THIS. Alex blanks. Sully isn't letting up on the gas. Heather scrambles to get back to the front.
Heather is the first to see the oncoming car. Jay yells at her to do something. Alex suddenly can't stop thinking about Paige. Sully... he's gone.
Heather never paid attention in driver's ed. The cigarette that Heather lit (and dropped on the seat) burns into Jay's leg. Alex suddenly FUCKING GETS IT.
Alex screams at Jay to put his seatbelt on. Heather jerks the steering wheel hard to the right. Tears fall from Jay's eyes, because of his leg, because he's stoned, because he knew he'd never make it past nineteen.
Jay can't stop the tears. Alex wonders whywhywhy. Heather pushes the wheel back to the left..
Heather hopes her obituary reads well. Jay pulls Alex's hand into his own. Alex prays that she'll have the time to make everything better with Paige.
And Sully...
...wakes up screaming. It was all a dream. A dream. A dream. A dream. A dream of death. A dream of death in homeroom.
"Is there something the matter, Sullivan?" says Kwan, handing him a detention slip. Everyone is staring at him.
Sully nods. "Yeah. I just died in a horrible fiery car crash and no one came to my funeral."
Heather shrugs. Her hair is on fire. "It happens." The world around the classroom starts to melt like plastic heated to a thousand degrees. Trippy.
Sully closes his eyes againand bangs his head against the desk.
No. More. Drugs.
