Inuyasha looked down at Kagome. She was so beautiful. 'She doesn't deserve this. Why would she do that for me? Damn it, she doesn't deserve this. I didn't deserve that', he thought. He saw what happened over and over in his mind while he sat on the ground next to his wounded miko. The final battle with Naraku.
The youkai lord had Inuyasha in an unbeatable situation. The hanyou's arm had been shattered once again and he had been stabbed. Naraku was about to bring his sword down on him again, but Kagome intercepted it. The sword went right thru her. Before falling, she was able to hit Naraku in the chest with one of her arrows. It's purifying powers killed him.
Inuyasha shook himself of that thought and looked down at Kagome, again.
