Hey guys! My friend and I are working on a longer Alice in Wonderland FanFic and we randomly came up with this when My friend said button instead of bunny. We wanted it to be short and funny. My friend does not have an account but she will be working on FanFics with me. Enjoy!

Alice's P.O.V.

I was listening to a boring history lesson (complements of my sister) when I decided that if I had a world of my own, it would be made of nonsense. I was describing my imaginary world to my faithful kitten, Dinah, when I saw out of the corner of my eye, a curious sight.

A curious sight indeed.

You see, it was a white rabbit walking on its hind legs. It was wearing a waistcoat and carrying a particularly large pocket watch. It was walking quite fast. It was funny because I was just telling Dinah how in my world, animals would walk like humans.

Now the rabbit was so close I could hear it mumbling about being late for something. But it was another detail that really caught my eye.

It was a 15th century antique vintage mother of pearl shank button that was attached to top of his coat.

You see, I am a very avid button collector. I had old buttons that had fallen off of visitor's coats (I can be very stealthy you know). I had new buttons bought with my own pocket money. Every time I out grew something, or if something would be thrown out with the rubbish, I would remove all the buttons before tossing it out. I had old buttons, new buttons, china, plastic, wood, and metal buttons. Even a rare ruby button that a wealthy visitor had slipped into my pocket (without Father knowing) upon hearing of my hobby.

The rabbit's button, I recognized, was a very very rare button. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity. How had a rabbit come about it? I had to ask him and maybe, just maybe, I would be able to negotiate something. I can be very persuasive.

I slipped out of the tree I was lounging in without my sister knowing. The fact that the rabbit had been speaking was just a side thought in my determined mind.

I ran desperately after the rabbit calling, "Mr. Rabbit! Mr. Rabbit!" He looked behind him. If anything this made him hurry more. "No time to say hello! I've got to go!" he shouted over his shoulder.

Not deterred, I still rushed after him. He stopped at small rabbit den and disappeared in a flash. I instantly crawled after him, Dinah at my side.

I talked to Dinah as I crawled through the cave. "You, know we really shouldn't be doing this," I started, knowing I would never take my own advice. "You never know-" It was then I found myself free-falling through the air, looking up at the bewildered face of my cat, furniture was floating around me.

A little odd, but cute. Hope you liked it!
