Summary:

Naomi is about to die in Shadow Moses, but she pondered her thoughts on one thing that she should have done when she first met Solid Snake during the Shadow Moses crisis back in 2005.

Her life was now beginning to fade, moments after she personally injected a syringe of nanomachines to counteract the anti-cancer nanomachines in her own body. Lying down on the cold, paved gravel of the hangar, she thought about Snake and time that she was with him back in Colombia in a Pieuvre Armement villa safehouse.

Naomi began to seriously think about the time that they first met on Codec.

I remember. First I'm strip searched by Doctor Naomi here, and then all my weapons are taken away. Imagine yourself put in that position.

Well, if you make it back in one piece, maybe I'll let you do a strip search on me.

I'll hold you to that doctor.

"It's really a shame..." Naomi whispered to her surroundings, feeling her strength slowly being sapped from her by the cancer cells that were now free from being held back by her medical nanomachines.

She gave a sad smile. "Really. It is a shame..."

Closing her eyes, the ex-FOXHOUND geneticist tried to smile but felt pain at her body due to suppressed cancer cells that thrived in her body.

"I'm so sorry Snake."

Naomi placed her gloved right hand over her chest, specifically to where her heart is located.

"I wished that you really did a strip search on me..."

Before she went to rest permanently, Naomi laid near Vamp's body with a smile on her face. A teardrop came out of her closed left eye, which went down her cheek and onto the gravel floor.
