031. Sunrise
Angeal was up at 0400, starting his morning training regimen. It wasn't uncommon for him to be up earlier, but he wanted to get a bit of extra sleep after getting back from a weeklong mission in Fort Condor. By about 0500, Angeal had tired himself out with a ten-minute mile followed up by a series of push-ups, sit-ups, stretches, and another ten-minute mile.
Sitting down on the roof of one of the barracks, he pulled a flask and took several large gulps of water. A soft wind stirred up around him and Angeal caught a glimpse of silver out of the corner of his eye.
"Watching the sunrise? How sentimental, Angeal."
"How kind of you to join me, Sephiroth." Angeal retorted with a grin as he wiped the sweat from his brow.
"Tch. I'm just here to remind you that it's your turn to wake the grunts in the east quarters."
"What? You're not going to intimidate them a little more?" Angeal asked, faking a surprised look. "Or did you just make up that excuse because you really did come to sit with me?" Another grin flashed across his face and he took another drink.
"Don't flatter yourself too much, Angeal. Your ego might outgrow that raven head of yours."
